Moves a lot of air in the house without much sound. This is making a big difference in my house during this oppressive East Texas summer. I can turn my AC up a couple degrees, run the Vornado and don't notice much of a difference. 

My only gripe is that the legs of this fan are a pain to hook up.

Reliable and saving me money this summer

Tornado fans last lifetime all you gotta do is dust them every few months they're quiet they're cool. It's worth every penny. I suggest everybody should own one because once you buy one you're gonna buy one for every room, living room room, kitchen all bedrooms that's how our house is and we live in Hawaii.

Best fans ever

It does want it claims, and we loved the first one so much that we bought two more.  It's great at circulating the air and keeping the space cooler.  The design is simple and sturdy with the added bonus of adjustable height.  It really does a better job than competing brands.

I have COPD and this fan makes a world of difference. I thought my husband was crazy for spending so much on such a little fan. We have the regular fans. I will never buy another type of fan than this one.

This is a nice expensive-looking fan with a black glossy finish. It's so quiet you can sleep with it close by and the air is so cool. Highly recommended.

Such Great Value For Your Money

This is my second Vornado fan. I have one upstairs in our loft that is a variable speed. This one is a great value. It's sturdy, high enough for the bedroom to cool across the surface of the bed and like other Vornado fans, it is quiet so it doesn't impact sleep quality. These are very efficient fans of high quality.

Worth it

I like it,  seems well made. I like that the fan head is not huge- and so far the air distribution is very good. I do wish the stem extended a little higher.

Good Fan

Designed in Kansas may not mean made in Kansas or well designed. Pain in the rear to assemble, best to use 2 people and I use to assumble small car models that were easy. Good for Very Small room Only. Not that power full. Asinine that 4 legs are clearly packaged and the the fifth leg requires hunting around.  Returning is a bigger pain.
