The AVH10 is one of Vornado's next generation of Whole Room Heaters. The modern styling on the outside hints at an enhanced design within - including Auto Climate Control to automatically adjust and maintain a balanced room temperature. I have had this for a couple weeks now and I'm in love with it. It functions so well and I love that I can set it to 68 degrees and it won't kick on in my Son's room until it senses its dropping below that. The cool to the touch feature and the tip over turn off/auto shut off if blocked put me at ease about it being in his room. It's also so lightweight that we love to bring it into the living room instead of using our fireplace or wall heater sometimes. Its a powerful little thing and heats the whole living room and kitchen. I might even buy a second one!

Small heater that does a big job

I've lost count of how many Vornado heaters we've had, given away, given as gifts, etc.  We do not use our heat pump in Winter.  Our house is small, and even during the last sub-zero cold spell three AVH10s keep the house toasty.  My husband has health issues that leave him chilled if he's not able to keep room temperature constant.  Even our cat is happy with Vornado!  We are very contented with Vornado heaters!

Forget your heat pump.

This is the second heater we have purchased. Does not get any better than VORNADO!! Do not let it fool you, you think it is blowing cold air…..BUT give it a few minutes and you realize the room is SO comfortable whereas before you were freezing. We will never own another brand.

I've tried many heaters because I'm small and usually am always cold. This one heats up the entire toon evenly. The room gets warm quickly. I love IT and recommend it. I prefer turning on this heater instead of gas heat. Thank you!

Best heater ever!

Puts out a huge amount of heat, circulates it around the room but doesn't make a lot of noise doing it. We use it on cold days in our office (15' x 12') and it is perfect!

I've been using this for about two weeks now, very easy to use and convenient to move around to different rooms of the house. This has really improved my day to day especially working from home. I like the safety features as well as the overall design of the product. It looks sleek and the digital display is easy to read.

Greatly improves my day to day

I bought the same model 4 or 5 years ago and it's been amazing so just ordered another one in case they become discontinued.  A single heater heats my 1000 square foot condo  .  It takes time for it to bring the temperature up, but after 30 minutes or so, it always does the job.

Amazing Heater

Am surprised at how quiet this heater is. Like my Vornado fans, this heater is powerful. The case is good looking and does not get hot to the touch. It has automatic turnoff for both tip overs and overheating. The automatic dimming of lights (temperature setting and power on) is pathetic. I called Vornado tech support to see if my unit was not functioning properly. I put opaque tape over both. The unit is no longer good looking and instead looks broken. If I had known, I would have looked for another strong and quiet heater. If you don't care about the lighted temp setting and power switch, you will love this heater.

Quiet and powerful, but lights are too bright

The online reviews seemed great, with a variety of options.  I especially liked the thermostat control, which will maintain the temperature once reached.  I was, however expecting more performance after reading the reviews.  It struggles to bring a 200 sq. ft. room above 70 degrees even after letting it run for 30 minutes.  I question how it would save on heating bills by heating individual room rather than whole house when it struggles for one small room.

Nice design

Got this because the combination AC/heater window unit in my apartment is very loud, cycles on and off frequently, and uses up a ton of electricity. The AVH10 is nearly silent on low and quite efficient, and on high it's just a bare hum and quickly heats up my small living room. Only things I wish it had: a remote, timer shut-off, and smart home functionality.

Great warmth, very quiet.

I bought the Vornado whole room heater a month ago.  Today the machine stopped.  I could not believe it.  Over the years, I have had several Vornados heaters and they have been wonderful.  What happened?  This is unacceptable.
