Effective up close, but inconsistent at distance.

Features a retro aesthetic reminiscent of the 1950s and 60s.

Our house was built in 1916; consequently we try to avoid three-pronged electrical appliances where we can. This little baby (in white) is wonderfully quiet, moves a lot of air, and plugs into a standard, NON-grounded outlet.

This is our third Vornado Jr.  we have one in each bedroom, but they also are moved around at my wife's whims.  She loves them!  All three of them, need I say more?  Thank goodness we don't have an eight bedroom home or you would have to increase production!    She loves their retro, mid century modern look!

Truly a great little fan!

So in order for the fan to work, you have to plug it in to the wall. I didn't know that. After you do that, there are two settings: low and high. So high is the fastest it goes. Low will be a lot slower. I was hoping the settings would have cool names, like High would be called Artic Blast and the Low setting would be called Late Summer Evening or something similar. Also, these fans are only suitable for indoor use. I didn't know that either. And yes, I would recommend this product to a friend, but I would tell my friend that it won't work in the rain.

Cool Fan…get it?

Love this fan! It's been perfect for our kitchen. The size is just want I wanted and so far it is working very well. It has a high and low setting only, which I was a little worried about when I realized that, but it's been fine and it's all we need anyway. If you were to run it in a bedroom, I think the high setting is too loud, low would work very well though and circulates the air well.

I was staying at a friend's house and they had this fan in their guest bedroom. I thought it was vintage because it was metal and had, to me, a vintage-look logo. When I found out it was new, I had to order one. I have it on my bedside table - it doesn't take up much room and keeps me cool at night. I like the two speeds and the low speed is almost silent.

Adorable and functional - what's not to love?!

I bought this fan several weeks ago and not only do I like the retro look, I like how it sounds, feels and operates. It effectively circulates air throughout my jr. 1 bedroom apartment (approx. 650 square ft). It's sturdy, being metal, which emanates a soft unique sound. I'm quite happy with it.

Fun & Effective Retro Vornado Fan

I've been a "fan" of the VFANs for quite a few years.  This is my first small one and it seems quite strong.  It arrived well packed and immediately performed perfectly after it emerged from the box.  It seems to me the Vornado VFANs are quite excellent in general and very pleasing to look at as well.

It's adorable the only trouble being.You have to physically turn it on and off, or turn it 2 1 of w speeds. it's quiet on the lowest speed.But you can definitely hear it on the higher speed. Love the retro look and it is solidly built to last.

This fan has an attractive retro styling, but the first one I ordered did not work: the motor whirred, but the blades would not turn.  It was replaced with one that worked, though it seems less powerful than the older Vornado fan I've had for 20-plus years.

The fan color is darker than pictured, on the box & website it is closer to teal, in person it is a dark green.  The knob on the back falls off and there are only two settings, high and low.  The fan is otherwise OK but the quality does not match the price.

Returned a $15 fan for lack of airflow and spent over 4x that much on this Vornado, which does NOT put out anymore airflow than the cheaper fan. Am RETURNING this fan.
