After copious amounts of research,  wathching hours of YouTube videos and reading reviews upon review we finally decided on the Instant Vortex 10QT Air Fryer Oven.  I wish it hadn't taken us so long!  Six months in and we haven't used our big oven once, NOT ONCE!  We use the Vortex (well, my son does) almost every day, also replacing the use of our microwave by probably 25%.  We're not a big "fried" food family but the crisping, browning, baking, and reheating are amazing. And for the occasional actual fries, well there's nothing like them.  Clean up is a snap, with the nonstick trays and a quick wipe with hot water and a microfiber cloth inside (though there are rarely any splatters) and you are good to go for the next time.  There is one thing to mention that I did see in other reviews before purchasing and I have noticed it, six months in and every now and again I'll still notice that "new" factory smell.  This was very noticeable for the first several weeks. In fact, because of other reviews mentioning it, I ran 4 or 5 thirty to forty five minutes cycles outside (without food inside) so the smell wouldn't be in the house.  Even still, the smell lingered for several weeks.  However, this was only when the oven was running and it dissipated VERY quickly after turning the oven off and NEVER effected the taste of the food.  SOOO, it hasn't bothered us and we have  been thoroughly enjoying this little oven.  BTW, not so little, you can make a whole meal in it as long as you rotate the trays during cooking, then pop in dessert and have it done as you're finishing up dinner.  Steak, meatloaf, enchiladas, lasagna. roasted vegetables, breakfast casseroles, brownies,  cupcakes, loaf bread, reheated pizza, fries, garlic bread, baked chicken, fish...the possibilities are endless and once you have it, you'll wonder what you ever did without it.

This makes THE best garlic bread! My family loves it, I love it. I do wish I would have gotten a bigger one but I can practice with this one. It did have a slight burned plastic smell after first use but that is to be expected. Arrived quicker that's I expected. So far this is my favorite kitchen appliance.

Awesome

This air fryer is my new favorite “toy” and I really dislike cooking. I've only had it a week and I've already used it 4 times! I love how nice it is. The black looks so sleek on my counter. I love having the horizontal trays instead of the basket like I had with my previous one. I can fit more in it at once. I also love the broil feature and the fact that it alerts you when your air fryer is at the temperature you want it to be and tells you on the screen to “add food”. Also, the trays are very easy to clean. and so is
the convenient drip tray! The door is removable for easy cleaning too. Those are just a few of the reasons why I gave this air fryer 5 stars.

Love my new air fryer!

I bought this because of the price. After reading the reviews i was hoping that it was just their experience and that wouldnt be the case for me. i waited to put a reciew because it takes time to find out what to expect 

Well is wasn't disappointed.  I have been running this air fryer everyday since i got it from chicken nuggets to meatballs. 

The first burn off did smell off but that comes with anything new or refurbished.  It no longer has a smell to it and I am in love with it! Compared to the instant pot with air frier attachment that I have , theres so much more room and it cooks so much faster because there isnt any air leaks. 

It fits so well on my counter top. I am grateful for this little addition.  It helps so much with meal prep. cant wait to bake in it!

happy fryer

This was a really good investment. I use this in place of my oven to keep my kitchen cool and the air fryer feature is great. I'm looking to trying the rotisserie soon. It has a dehydrator feature that I'm looking forward to playing with soon too. I love that this is Instapot so I know it will last

Great multifunctional countertop gadget

My order arrived almost a week early! Super excited to use it. I was a bit skeptical about ordering after reading some of the reviews from the company, but I was extremely satisfied with my purchase. It was boxed, wrapped, and covered with styrofoam.

We have only had the fryer for a few days and the unit seems to work well. We have had to wing it a bit because the Company/Vendors Operations Manuel is nearly nonexistent.
The Vendor provided a two folded page delivery and startup instruction sheet with minimum information that was in type so small you needed a magnifying glass to read it.
I would have expected a much more robust instruction manual with a few hints on how to cook basic items including times and temperature.  Mind you that it might be there but I could not read the small print. I understand cutting expenses on items but then operating manual is not where to save.

Short on Documentation

A lot of people said it has a bad smell for a while but it's actually not that bad. I wiped the inside down with a damp towel before using it and washed the pans with soap water so maybe that helped? 
It has a light that turns on inside like a oven does which my toddler and I thought was really cool lol.
It air fried mini tacos and curly fries super fast and they were so crunchy and good. Only weird thing is the door wiggles so much but I think it's bc it's removable to wash it but still kind of weird that it wiggles a lot. So far we like it. It's pretty big and does take up alot of counter space. We want to try and cook a chicken in the rotisserie soon. Hopefully it works good but I feel like it will!

So far so good..

I've had this for several weeks now and I wish I could give it 5 stars. I love it. It works fantastically! It makes amazing wings (raw and straight from frozen!) and it's so fast and easy to use. My only issue is that, even after many uses, it STILL has a lingering plastic smell. It's not as strong as when it was brand new, but sometimes can taste plastic in the food. I thought that would have burned off by now. Aside from that, I love it!

Great machine but plastic smell won't go away

sorry but it doesnt make toast.  the purpose was to rid  of too many appliances out.  i dont like the tray set up either, have to really be careful they slide out easily.  (Safety feature) the over all im not happy with it.  as far as the smell goes, I ran it before use about 3 times and it was fine.  i do have to give it a thumbs up for airfrying my scratch cinnamon buns 10 mins. great.

instapot just doesnt measure up
