Clear and easy to use

Vortex products perform very well compared to other binoculars I own that cost a great deal more. I would have preferred the Vortex canvas case for these, but the black hard case is probably more popular with birders who no doubt often buy this product. Great set for an intro to Vortex products. (Check out my hack for using a hair tie to keep from losing the eyepiece cover.)

Best customer support experience I've ever had.  Got me fixed up with a new Glasspack no questions asked and threw in a sweet and very comfortable hat as a surprise.  Opened the box when it came EARLY and shazam! Glasspack and new hat!  As for the Binoculars, I can't recommend them enough.  I bought them for me and my kids and they are the perfect size and super sharp.  First pair of binoculars I've ever bought and I'm going to be a customer for life.  They just Nailed It!!!

I rarely write reviews because I thinks so many are exaggerated, but I have to remark on the best compact binoculars I have ever used, or even have viewed through.  I needed a compact pair that could fit in my coat pocket, and I took a chance on these Diamondback HD 10X32 binoculars, because so many people have told me they are exceptional.  I can attest that these are the finest compact binoculars.  I have hand many very good binoculars over my 62 plus years, but these exceed my expectations.  I have used them from well below freezing with no fogging, snowstorms and squalls, etc.  The light gathering qualities are exceptional.  Today I easily watched deer at 800 yards and could see the rack buck with clarity.

Diamondback HD 10X32

Light weight great in daylight and low light situations I live in the south perfect for those 100 to 250 yard field of views but would feel very confident taking them out west if need be.  Reliability and performance in the field 100% every time!!

Amazing Bino's!

I'm a huge fan of Vortex, I have a few scopes and have loved them. I was in need of a pair of binoculars mostly for hunting as my eyes aren't what they used to be. I wanted a pair that was compact, I'm into saddle hunting and I already have enough "stuff" to lug up a tree. I was able to try out these 10x32, 10x28, 8x28, 8x32 and 8x42 all the Diamondback HD models, all were crystal clear but these were exceptionally clear and bright, yes it was in a lit store but a noticeable difference between these and the 8x28 as far as brightness and the 8x42's were a bit too big for the chest pack they would live in. I also was appreciative of the lens caps for both sets of lenses and the very comfortable neck strap, even the case is a solid case to store them in when not using. You cant beat the quality, price and warranty!

Awesome and compact

I'm a park police officer. Most of my parks are on a lake and I use these when we have issues on the water, helps with ID'ing boats. Also great for getting eyes on something at a good safe distance before getting in the mix. Great optical clarity, they punch WAY above their weight. Very bright image as well, great in lower light (dusk) situations.

Great patrol Binos!

Bought these for eastern US hunting where there's more brush and you can see quite as far but still get open areas of about 300 yards or so through the woods. They're very compact and easily fit in a bag of any size but are powerful enough for those open areas to see anything on the far side even if it's through some brush.

Excellent and compact optics

These binos are rad. Super clear glass, light weight, great zoom. I recently took these to Hawaii on a bunch of really long hikes to look at birds. They stayed wet for about 3 days straight, didn't affect the glass at all, no condensation buildup on any of these lenses. I was very impressed. I always carry these when I hike because of how light and small they are, improves the hiking experience a lot when you can see all kinds of critters. I've never hunted before, that's not my intended use for these. But for what I use them for, they are excellent.

Just bought Vortex Diamondback HD 10x32 and I have a problem with central focusing wheel. The physical range of the wheel is aprox. 1.6 revolutions but usefull range is only about half of that (aprox. 0.8 revolutions) from 2m to infinity. Whole other half of range is beyond infinity. I am not eyeglass wearer having heathy eyes. Is that normal? Refocusing with such small usefull range is extremely sensitive and too fast to do minor changes. My Vortex Vanquish has more than 2 physical revolutions and just last 1/5 of revolution is beyond infinity.
They also have very strong filed curvature - center of image is sharp in different distance then very large outer portion of the image. Focusing whell is too loose with some backlash unfortunately.
Otherwise they are very nice, clear image, big FOV.
