Consumer Reports rated this hair dryer number five on the list of recommendations.  It was the only one in my price range, $105.  It blows a lot of hot air, and dries my wavy hair so fast I'm able to get it all to come out straight.  Excellent purchase.  I bought one for each bathroom!  I can't afford the %231 $450 Dyson, but this one does the job well.

Best Hair Dryer at Walmart!

I had this same hair dryer for MANY years and loved it so much that when it finally died I had to get the exact same one.  It's very light in your hand and the heat settings are perfect (I use the hot setting with the low speed).  I wish it came with a diffuser but it does fit the standard ones bought separately.  I will continue to buy this until they no longer make it.  It was also rated best by Wirecutter.

Loved it so bought it again

This is a very lightweight hairdryer with lots of heat and power and a long cord.  And, it is a great price for the quality.  I would purchase it again.

This was reviewed by the NYT. It was their top pick. This is the best hair dryer I have ever bought. Professional quality, 8 ft cord, controls switches are great. Multiple settings. Cold shot for styling. A great buy!

The best hair dryer ever!

Before purchasing I read all the reviews which helped me decide onthis hair dryer.   I am pleased with the hair dryer.  It is light and dries my hair fast without a lot of noise. I also like the extra long cord.

Great investment

I read a review on Wirecutter which recommended this product.  I couldn't be happier.  It is "W8less", less than a pound.  My old dryer, Italian and expensive but likely 15  years old, was getting weaker by the minute.  This is powerful and superlight.  It is an amazing hair dryer.  Couldn't be more pleased.

Rave review

My last Rusk hairdryer lasted 10 years of daily use.  But, it finally stopped working.  I replaced it with this new Rusk hairdryer that lives up to all my expectations.

Great dryer just as described .  This is my 2nd one in 10 years.

Purchased this to replace an older one that was starting to overheat. NYTimes Wirecutter recommended this and it was a reasonable price. It is heavier than my old one, but not enough that I struggle with it. It has a lot of variability- two speeds and three heat settings. The switches are easy to change while drying my hair, but they are also easy to inadvertently hit while drying my hair. It has a really long cord, which is nice. The plastic piece that clips on the front to direct the air has a much nicer way of attaching than my past dryers. It slides over the nozzle instead of simply clicking on. I can't knock this one off with a wayward hairbrush. I'd buy this again and would recommend it above others in this price range.

A really nice hair dryer.

Love this one! I tried 5 different from $50 to $200 and this was my favorite. I have long hair, it was shiny and not frizzy when I finished. Control buttons are placed in a good spot and easy to navigate in the middle of drying. I didn't give it five stars because it only has a two year warranty. Other brands have longer but definitely recommend!

Works great!

It was flimsy and not nearly as lightweight as advertised. The attachment fell off as soon as I tried to use it. Very disappointing for all the hype!
