You fill it with water and it makes ice cubes (small or large) pretty quickly. It is easy, convenient and more helpful than I would've thought! I'd recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ok.  this little countertop ice maker is the bomb. its small enough to just stick in the corner and let it do its thing before company comes.  seems like we never have enough ice and now i can set this up and let it keep going.  it is really fast.  starts making ice in minutes.

very convenient

My family and I love putting ice in out drinks but it is always a pain making sure ice cubes are made and ice cube trays often take up needed room in the freezer. We don't have a fridge with a ice maker, so we were excited to try this. It does take up a little bit of counter space, but it is totally worth it. Easy to set up and easy to read and understand instructions. Pretty quiet machine. Makes ice pretty quickly. Makes small and large cubes. There isn't much difference between small and large cubes. No more warm drinks in our home and the dogs love the ice cubes too. Every kitchen should have one of these.

It is perfect for summer especially when you live in Illinois when it goes up to 90 degrees. The LED display helps you determine the water level as well as if you need to pull out ice. It produces ice quick. We love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Wandor compact portable top load ice maker and i think it's a good idea for those that love ice but don't have one on the fridge. It will also save on having to continuously purchase ice. I appreciate that it recycles the water that melts to start the next cycle. It's also not loud, but it isn't silent either. It just sounds like an air fryer when it's going through the cycle. However, it says that it will produce ice within 6-13, but doesn't say that it's only 9-12 pieces of ice each cycle. It took over an hour to completely fill.

Neat but works too slowly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first counter top ice maker I've ever owned.  It was simple to set up.  Everything comes packaged well and taped so that nothing comes loose.  The directions were clear and it was easy to start making ice by putting water to the fill line and turning on.  Just select the size of cubes you want and in about 7 minutes you have about 9 cubes.  It didn't take long to fill up the included basket of ice cubes.  I then transferred to a container in my freezer.  It will keep them cold overnight, but they will slightly melt back into the water reservoir, so you will just make more ice and not waste any water. 
The ice is just the right size to use for the traveling cups that I take to work and thy gym.  The only thing I didn't like was that I thought it was noisy, so I would suggest making ice when you are not home, or overnight unless the noise wouldn't bother you.  I live in a small apartment, so my kitchen is very close to my living room where I was watching tv. 
When you are done, I just turned the power off and will fill it with water when I'm ready for more ice.  It wipes clean  and has a digital display that is easy to see.  It also has a clear window, so that you can look into the basket to see how full it is.  It is about as big as an air fryer, and while I don't have a lot of room in my apartment, I was able to put it on my water cooler and it works fine.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone who doesn't have an ice maker in their refrigerator.  I can turn it on quickly in the morning and have ice ready for my to go container.

Great small size ice cubes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This ice maker was super easy to set up and get going.  It literally makes the first round of ice in minutes which I couldn't believe.  The cubes are nice sized and easy to remove from the Ice Maker.  Size of the Ice Maker is also a plus.  The machine does make a bit of noise when making ice though.
