WD hard drives have served me well first when working as computer tech and now as a hobbyist . The shipping was as fast as anywhere else and the price beat out everywhere I looked. Packaged well and no issues yet.

Wow. Hard to beat 500 GB for $50 (at least for the next 6 months anyway). And delivered to my door for just a penny! Awesome!!! Just be aware that "bare bones" is exactly what it means. Hard drive in a brown box. No instructions or anything. If you've taken the cover off your computer before then this is a snap.
Walmart did excellent with delivery and packaging. Can't beat it!

bare bones- perfect drive

Western Digital hard drives out perform other brands. This one is no exception. It installed easily and it was super smooth to get set up and Windows installed. It is noticeably faster than my old hard drive of 5400 rpm in bringing up files and programs. (I am comparing this to when the old hard drive was new). I would recommend Western Digital over any other manufacturer. In my experience they also have a much longer life span. My external hard drive is also a Western Digital. I give it five stars all around.

WD Internal Hard Drive

Ship to me Site to Store, safe easy pickup. Drive was packaged well and work right out of the box. Be aware that bare drives don't come with any cables or screws. I have own many of these drives in the pasted and Western Digital builds good drives. Been in my newer computer now about three weeks and I've had no problems. I would'nt buy a drive now days any smaller than this one, programs, pictures, and music just take up to much space. All and All I give this purchase a Five Star Rating.

Great Drive the the price

I thought my computer was slow.  My hard drive was failing.  This thing works great.  I looked at reviews before I purchased.  I wanted the best bang for my buck.  If you don't know how to format a hard drive.  Get a MS Windows 7 or 10 boot full version book disk.  It will make your life a lot easier.

Good Bang for your buck

I purchased and had it shipped store to store. It felt like it took forever to arrive, like 3 weeks.
But i replaced my bad drive and she works like a charm. Very nice drive for the money but I could have gotten a similar size shipped much quicker for the same price.

Great Price at 27 dollars for 500 gb! I replaced a failed drive on an older computer at home in minutes. I used a recovery usb stick, and now my kids have a 'new' computer! GeekSquad wanted over 200 dollars to fix this, so I saved big time by doing it myself. Note: always make your own recovery boot stick!

Great product and fast shipping! I ordered this western digital hdd to replace a bad 320 hdd in a older Dell desktop. The WD hdd was packaged well and works perfectly! would definitely order from GOHARDDRIVE again!
