This particular jar opener is the best on I have ever used, and I gave up my OXO one for this one.  That says volumes! The price is extremely reasonable and it will be with you the rest of your life - into old age when your hands will need it the most!

This jar opener is very old school technology but works on every size jar (old school adjustable also so don't try to complicate it).

This jar opener was tested & a winner on Americas Test Kitchen.

Although much smaller than the original opener I had quite a few years ago, this little opener is great and gets the job done. It fits all size jars and I really like the rubber handle.

Good product. Better than all hand held openers.

1/2" to 4-1/4" works. Rubber handle slides off but I guess that helps if you need to clean it. Now if I only had a device to hold the bottom of the jar

I have been using this for years.  Works on small to large bottles.  I have given as gifts to friends, and they have told me they cant be without it.  Needed to order more for friends.  Mine still working fine.

my grandmother had one like this. it works great. I have a little problem with the strength in my hand and this helps.

I'm older and losing my hand strength and needed more than just a rubber mat.  This opener grips a variety of jar tops well and gives me the leverage to open them easily.  Caveat: I've only used it on a few jars so far.

It does work but does take some pressure to get the lid off. Both of my wrists have a problem so it is hard for me but may be good for other people.  I was able to remove top without too much effort.

This is not a gadget this is a tool for any busy kitchen, not having to run or get help to open jar or other pot and losing time and put you in madness to fight to open a cap resistant.

Pkg opened, not secured to cardboard backing. Works, but rubber handle came off. Dont know if there was something on the metal handle that was supposed to keep handle in place. May have been used.
