Just had surgery on two knees and used an ice machine that works great, but could get too cold and I couldn't easily turn it off and on.  Now I can stay under the covers and run it at will.  I just bought one for a relative who is having knee surgery.

This is, no less than, my third attempt to solve my switch problem. The first two by other manufacturers failed almost immediately but I decided to try one last time.
Success. Works great, my wife loves it.

Remote outdoor on off switch

This is a very handy item for outdoor holiday or general deck lighting that is not hard-wired.  The remote feature means I don't have to go out into snow/cold and can turn holiday lights on/off as needed and not rely on dusk to dawn or timer.

Good product

I use this product on a consistent basis and buy multiples for my application. This particular Westek product is much better than the other (the white indoor unit) Westek Remote/Receiver that Walmart carries for the same exact price.

The indoor one says it works up to 50 feet. I have had several that I had to take back because it seems to be an inferior product to this product.

This product is rugged (w/ground lift) and works extremely well. While the package says that it works up to 80 feet away I have yet to have that happen, but it can work up to about 30 feet away.

Overall a great product at a great price point.
