I had been looking for a TV stand for a long time never quite finding anything that grabbed me. One day while strolling through Walmart I saw some stands on display and this one just seemed to be saying "Buy me!". After looking at it thoroughly I decided that was the one. Good decision. It's solid (it weighs a ton) well-made for the most part and looks nice in my living room. Unfortunately it makes my 32 incher look quite small now so I'm shopping for a new TV - already! :-) I had no issues putting it together even if the bags of hardware scared the living daylights out of me initially! Recommended.

Great console

[Employee of walmartcanada] Just bought this, putting it together was fairly easy.  Just make sure you have a lot of space to put it together.  This item is a little over 100lbs so you may need an extra person to help lift it.  Due to the weight of it, it feels sturdy.

bought this stand a few days ago and im pretty impressed. multiple mounting configs, plenty of hardware for different tv's, and has a nice look to it. currently housing my audio receiver, ps4, 2 ps3's, a wiiu, and my router and satellite box all with plenty of breathing room! for the price tag its a steal for sure. setup was a lil tricky but only because my brother "helped" :P luv this thing

Stand was very easy to set up and has plenty of shelf space. Mount makes stand look great, I would recommend this product

Easy set up

A ton of pieces, but they are well packed and identified to make it very easy to assemble.
My TV didn't have a standard VESA panel so I couldn't use the integrated "wall mount", so check yours before buying this.
There is not enough room in the post to put the wires in when you have a lot of things (modem, ps3, xbox, cable box, computer).

Looks great, is sturdy, but some hiccups

Set this entertainment center up with my father a couple of days after it arrived and overall it was fairly easy to set up. Only thing is some of the packages of bolts, screws, etc. should be more plainly marked to allow easier finding. Other than that i have absolutely no issues with the system and would readily recommend this.

A Nice Unit

I was concerned about assembly but managed to get it done all by myself, took a little while, but I am so happy with this stand. It was priced well below many others & delivered day after I ordered it! Plus free shipping & Walmart Rewards. I also like that I can upgrade to a larger tv, since my current is a 37 inch Vizio, but since mounting it I find it much easier & better viewing experience

Suits my needs perfectly

I love this TV stand! I'm currently using it with the mount and it works great! The swivel is very easy to turn. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 star rating is because I had a hard time assembling it.

Looks GREAT!

The box says fits most 50" tv, walmart website says up to most 50" flat panel TV's.
Whalen website says, fit 50" TV's. mmm to open the box or not. HAve 42". Calling Whalen 1-800 number to ask what the heck size TV's this fits. This is a pain in the butt.
