I went fancier than my last toaster with the Whall 2 slice Touchscreen Toaster. I tried a different brand of basic toaster %26 it was defective, so I decided to switch brands. I was just going to get the normal 2 slice Whall toaster, but this one was on sale for about the same price. It's not really a true touchscreen as the circles are the controls %26 nothing happens if you touch it somewhere else. This one is a little bit bigger than my old toaster, but it still fits on my counter. All of the heat elements light/heat %26 I do usually get even toasting. It doesn't get hot on the sides (it does get hot on the top area). I have noticed that the bread holders do move a little bit once clamped in on thinner slices, so I do occasionally get one side darker than the other if it doesn't center the bread exactly - I started to make sure they are centered %26 I use a wood toothpick or bamboo tongs to center it if needed. I have also noticed that after about a month of use, I have had to raise the shade  selector up a level - not sure why it stopped toasting both sides on the lower setting. Initially, %231 wasn't toasting much, %232 was perfect %26 %233  was burnt - now I use %233 for the same results, so not sure if I got a defective toaster but I will keep using it %26 update if it changes again - exchanges %26 returns are annoying when you don't have transportation to the store 10  miles away %26 use delivery/shipping for everything. I hope the fancy features have a fairly long lifetime (my last toaster lasted about a decade). I haven't changed the bread type setting yet as I only use white bread for the most part - I have used a variety of thickness %26 it's worked well with extra thick Texas Toast %26 regular thin slices with one slice or two at a time. I have used it at least once a day since I got it. This is my first experience with the Whall brand, so I don't personally know how reliable their products are.

I absolutely love this toaster. I haven't owned one in years but I really love perfectly toasted bread and bagels. While shopping for a toaster I ran across this one. It has an MSRP OF $129.95 but was on sale for $90.00 off. It looked really easy to use so I thought I'd give it a try. 

I have to say that with its simplicity in selecting the right kind of bread and its 6 toasting darkness settings, you can get just the right amount of browning according to your preference. 

I really like the countdown timer that lets me know at a glance exact how much time is left to get my bread just the way I like it.

I really love the features and performance.

Quite happy with my purchase. Everything I've used has worked very well. Relatively new but if it lasts a few more years then I would add another star.

The choices are great and so far pretty accurate. We've had white bread, grans bread, bagels. States very expensive toaster though we bought it at a great sale price.

my family is pretty happy with it except its not really 'touchscreen' - its moving to different options via the arrow buttons. this is fine but if you are looking for something more advanced its not the right option. overall good tho.

It toasts well. I started on level 3 but have since lowered it to 2. 
I do find it impossible to believe this toaster was ever, under any circumstances, worth 2 hundred dollars. Sometimes, if I put the lever down to hard/fast, I almost flip it. It's pretty lightweight.
I haven't had it long. If it suddenly develops problems, I'll be back to update my review.

Worth the sale price.

Fails to evenly toast bread and will burn it just on setting 3 of 5. Literally black burnt... for this I'd expect the inside of the bread to be hot and its just slightly warm (using a bagel as my example sonce this is what we eat the most). The settings are also not touch screen like it intially makes it seem. The function to change the different levels of and type of bread are touch only...

For the amount of money that this actually is to what it went on sale for, I am surprised. The quality is very cheaply made but it does work.

It's alright

We have had this toaster for just around 3 months %26 and it has already failed. It started with one side of both sides of the toaster failing so we would end up with one side of the toast cooked and the other still not toasted. Now it has just flat out stop toasting. Very disappointed, no option for warranty or sending back - complete waste of money.

Toaster Breaks - Don't bother

I had high hopes for the WHALL 2-Slice Touchscreen Toaster, but it has been a huge letdown. The touchscreen looks nice, but it's not very responsive, and sometimes it takes multiple tries to change the settings. The toasting is inconsistent—one side of the bread is often darker than the other, and even after multiple uses, it doesn't seem to improve.
Another issue is the build quality. It feels flimsy and cheaply made, which is disappointing for the price. After just a few weeks of use, the heating elements started acting up, and now it takes forever to toast anything. The countdown timer is also inaccurate, making it hard to predict when the toast will actually be ready.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend this toaster. For the money, there are much better options out there that actually deliver on their promises.
