good product just doesnt meet the needs on my boat as i thought for seating so i built a console for boat instead a little tall for seating on deck

First of all, this portable seat stand is incredibly sturdy. Quality materials, good welds, durable finish, great stand. The ONLY thing to be aware of is the bolt holes on mine were NOT 5 1/4" spacing as advertised...they were like 5 1/8"...I had planned on using a seat swivel with this anyway, but in my case it would have been necessary whether I wanted it or not! The slotted mounting holes on the swivel will allow for the error in the spacing of the holes on the stand. I had read another review mentioning this issue as well, but I figured it was an isolated incident. Maybe not...this kind of QC issue from a company like Wise kind of surprises me. 4 stars for the sturdiness and durability of the stand, but had to deduct one star for the mounting hole spacing issue.
