These seats are better than I expected. The base is plastic, but it is very thick and well constructed. I think that these seats will last a long time and they look great in my 1976 16' Starcraft fish and ski boat. The grey color is not too dark, and they are pretty comfortable. I am not a huge guy (6' 1" and 225 lbs), and the seats fit me pretty good. They give you everything you need to put them together, but the bolts to mount it to the deck are NOT included. Make sure you buy stainless steel or you will have a mess in a couple years.

Overall I'm very happy with my purchase, and would recommend these to someone redoing an older boat. These are great, but not "high end" for sure. So if you have more than 4 or 5 grand invested in your boat, look for something nicer (and more expensive).

Very nice replacement seats for a fair price

Attractive and appears to be of adequate quality. Assembled these in a snap. Have not installed in the boat yet - need to buy some marine bolts to mount to the boat floor. Wish these would have been included with the hardware! A definite upgrade for our aging boat.

Good option for the price

One of the plastic holders broke. Other than that it is a good seat at a fair price. It matches the description and great color. Light weight which is one of the main reason for buying it. Comfortable seats and I plan on buying the matching jump seats.

Is a great value but at a cost.

Compared to re uphostering this was a great alternative -A nice look at a reasonable price - a little woobly but nothing major - color was very good just as pictured. We renovated a boat to sell and were satisfied with this seat.

Good value for the price

The seats arrived days before the expected date, allowing me to install prior to the weekend. Had to modify the basic seat installation to utilize the existing pedestal in my Bayliner, but used the included cross pieces and screws from the kits. They look and work great, are comfortable to sit and lay on when extended.

Simple to install, good quality for a low price.

These seats are pretty decent for the price. The base is a little flimsy, but it only took a few minutes and some extra hardware to firm them up. If you buy them for your $50k Mastercraft you will be disappointed, but to spruce up an older boat with bad seats they'll do fine.

Pretty good for the money

Easy to assemble, great value for the price.

This would be a great seat, but the construction is cheap and not as good as they were when they were made of wood. It seems very flimsy and easily made to flex. Im not happy about this seat, but Ill give it a shot. It looks great though, and is fairly comfortable when you sit on it.

Great comfort, poor construction and base material

Great seats for the price, assembly could have fit together better but it was manageable. I was able to get it together after fighting with it for a little bit. Nothing too much to handle.
