[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The show was made in 1978-1982, so it's standard definition which I expected. I thought they might have remastered the original print to make it somewhat clearer and brighter. I'm still happy I have the complete series of one of my favorite tv shows.

We used to watch this series in the early 80s. My husband would laugh and enjoy the show so I bought this for him as a gift for Father's Day. He was really happy and has been watching it every night since. Great find!

Fun Series

I was very excited to receive all the seasons of the show WKRP in Cincinnati as it was one of my favorites.  However, the very first diskette skips, sound is not synched with the actors in the story.  I tried another DVD from my collection and it played fine.  I ran the cleaning disc 3x, but that didn't help.  I'll try the next disc in the series and see if this is any better.  If not, I'll pursue returning them and hopefully credit my account.

WKRP DVD is great, playing on my player is NOT

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so happy to finally have the complete series, but once I started playing the dvds, a huge problem was discovered. The last two episodes on each disc become pixelated and they start to skip and backtrack and stick. At first I thought it might be the DVD player m, but after playing them on three different players, the problem persisted. Checked each dvd for obvious flaws. None. The flaws are in the are in the data transfer process. Thinking about returning the set for a refund and trying to purchase elsewhere.

Caveat Emptor

1st disc in the set was close to unwatchable. I'm on the 2nd disc and so far it hasn't had any issues.

Poor quality recording on 1st DVD.
