[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free of charge to review it, but I am sold and will buy this from now on! I cannot believe how well this actually works, and how fast it starts working. You don't realize how much dampness you actually have until you hang this up in your closet, and there are many different styles you can get as well such as containers you can set on the floor and use anywhere.

I hung this in my closet and didn't expect much, but when I looked the very next day, there was water already in the collection bag beneath the bag of moisture absorbing crystals. IT WORKS. How it works is the crystals in the top portion of the bag absorb the moisture, then the water runs down through small holes between the two portions and collects in the bottom bag which is clear so you can see when it's full of water and empty of crystals, and you'll know when to replace and you can keep an eye on the progress in the meantime. It is also very pleasantly scented, not overpowering and does not get into your clothes. I will be putting one of these in all my closets and recommend everyone do the same.

Works amazingly well.

Received my product yesterday. Scent is a little overpowering in a small area. Very disappointed in FexEx delivery. Driver left package on my porch rather than trying to secure it between the screen door and found the opened package in the yard where an animal had gotten hold of it and ripped it open. Luckily it was mostly still intact.

I disliked it. It added a weird smell to my clothes. Freshener? Hardly!

Not what I expected

I love DampRid, but I cannot stand scented stuff.  It makes me quite ill.

The description of the product says "Fragrance Free" and I got one that was scented.  Walmart needs to address this as there are people like me who are super sensitive and who can't even have the boxed product in their dwelling.

As far as the hanging DampRid product - it's fantastic - so long as it doesn't have scent.

Wrong Product Sent

One pack for this price is ridiculous. I'm taking this back to the store! Went to Home Depot, and got 8 for the price of the 2 I purchased.
