Gas-like performance without all the drawbacks of gas. That’s what the Worx 40V Power Share 14” Cordless Chainsaw gives you. We’ve doubled the volts of our standard Power Share tools and made a chainsaw powered by two 20V batteries. Double the run time and upgraded performance but still with cordless convenience and without the smell or expense of gasoline.

We’re able to achieve this on account of the saw’s high-efficiency brushless motor. It’s more durable and uses less battery than a motor based around a brush design. It spins the 0.043” gauge chain, with a 3/8” pitch, at 26ft/s. So you’ve got all the power you need to perform every regular chainsaw job. Cut 26” diameter logs on the ground or 13” diameter trees that are still standing, for instance. Auto-tensioning and auto-oiling systems keep the bar and chain running at peak performance throughout the entire life of this tool. And on-board battery charge indicators, and oil-tank markings, let you know when you’ll need to recharge or refill the oil. Plus, the quick-stop chain brake adds an extra level of safety to this saw, so you’ll know you can always shut it down at a moment’s notice.

Brianna H

I have 10 inch and jaws WORX chainsaws so decided to add this one for larger cuts that I usually need my gas operated saw to accomplish. Thus far I am impressed with this saw's capabilities to do what I needed a gas saw to do previously. My only critique is that the saw should come with the higher capacity 20V batteries.

Great power

worx.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great saw; have WORX lawnmower and been very pleased. Uses the same battery packs, so very convenient. Impressed with lightness, power, and battery life. No gas/oil, spark plugs, other things to deal with to maintain other saws, just bar oil.
Overall highly recommend this saw.

Light, good battery life, excellent chain saw

Worx saw is great for me to use on my farm.
No worrying about gas, cords or getting my husband to find the time to help. I can do it myself. And price was good. I cleaned up a whole shelter belt with this saw after a bad storm. 6 trees down and many limbs. All the Worx's tools a great.

Don't need to get the guys to help!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] just bought ghis 40v0lt chaine saw and wow what power it has. and automatic chain tightner. the feel of the running is so smooth ya wounder if its running. auto oil injecting helps and for the size it cut like butter ive bought many tools from workx and i would not change anythingfor other tools .. taqke my word guys and ladies its the best you can buy and great prices. thanks workx ill be back soon if ya run short on tools head to workx. happy holidays to all the stall.. steve h bremerton wash.

vary well made

I've had this model for about 2 years; it performs very well.
On April 1st 2023 we had 12" of "heart attack" snow that damaged/destroyed multiple trees (that's Minnesota for ya!) I cut and bucked over three full cords of wood using this saw exclusively. Two 20 V batteries last about 30 minutes of runtime on average (then take about 90 minutes to recharge...perfect for a mandatory coffee break. I purchased two additional batteries so I could swap them out, as well as use them in other Worx tools as needed...highly recommend this saw!

Great chainsaw!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Shopped for months for a battery operated chainsaw. Since I've got 2 other WORX tools that work well for me, I pulled the plug and ordered. I'm pleased with how useful and efficient the saw has been for my yard work!

It WORX Great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Never thought I would use an electric chainsaw but, this one is great. With the two 20V batteries I can use with other Worx tools it is great. Uses the same battery as my trimmer and with the new one hour double charger I am never in need of power. It is always right there. Don't have pull my arm off trying to start it like the gas powered one that I had. This is the best saw and it will cut anything that I have. Use a fire place in the winter and this will keep the wood coming.

excellent chainsaw

Seems to do pretty good. Chain pops off instantly when cutting small stuff that is maybe an inch in diameter but my husband says they all do that with small stuff. It's easy to put back on. So far everything else about it is great.

So far good

I used the 14” worx saw today got the first time cutting 8” plus oak wood. The saw worked great, very pleased . I need another set of batteries in order to have longer cutting time.

Retired

Portia M.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this piece of junk, from this site, for some small work around the yard. What a disappointment. It was dead On Arrival. Read the directions before use and charged the batteries. At least that part works. I checked the chain installation before using. Could not get the chain or chain drive to turn or move at all. First time I tried to use is nothing happened.
This is a piece of junk. One good point was the delivery time was exceptional.
Since it is Sunday, could not even get any product support.
Maybe I can use the batteries in my other 20v Worx products, trimmer, edger and blower. All fo which work fine.
