Size

Excellent tool for the small jobs. Very easy to handle and light enough so you can do the cutting without any strain on your wrist. Glad I made the purchase..would highly recommend it for any small cutting jobs the do it yourself homeowner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't done a big project but I tried it out on some sample pieces of wood and it worked great. 
Make sure that when you're installing the blade you press the button on the right side of the saw otherwise you can't tighten the blade enough to work properly and safely. The button holds the spindle still while you tighten the nut.

Fantastic handheld circular saw!

This is a really nice specialty saw, good for (1 X dimensional), cutting down plywood sheets, etc. It's a 4 1/2" blade and a 4.5 amp motor, so don't expect it to perform or do the work of a  large 15 amp saw. I have used it on a variety of projects and  am very pleased with its performance, maneuverability and quality.

Was very handing installing new windows and trim. Very useful on all small cuts needed to instal and level and trim those new windows. My daughter-in=law helped with this project and fell in love with this saw so I bought her one for helping.

great features

I was looking for a light, powerful saw to do some overhead cutting. This saw performed well. The adjustments are accurate and hold tight. It has plenty of power. Only complaint is that, at some angles, the safety and trigger switches are hard to depress with one hand. Wasn't a show stopper though.

Worked as expected!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The very first time I needed to use this Worksaw was to cut a very narrow piece of plastic off a a brand new slider that I just bought and the saw was so easy to control the cut went smooth without any issues.

Easy To Use

I am a woman who loves power tools.   I drooled over this 4 1/2' Worx saw for a very long time before I bought it.  I was disappointed when I tried to use it because I have small hands and I am unable to hold the saw while pressing the on/off switch and the safety switch.    My hands just don't reach.   I tried lots of different ways to hold it but I just can't operate the saw safely.     I know it would be a good tool for me if it were just a little smaller and things were more reach-able for me.   So the saw just sits .  I gave it a 5 rating because I know it would be a good tool and I enjoy some other Worx tools. So ladies do your due diligence & check it out thoroughly before you purchase.  But I would recommend men buy it because I'm sure they wouldn't have any trouble operating the   saw.     Thank you.

Very nice tool.

Looks like a decent machine, but the "instructions" are only full of safety suggestions and ID of what all the parts are...it does NOT TELL YOU HOW TO INSTALL the blade. Basic instructions are MIA. So bizarre and strange. NOT CUSTOMER FRIENDLY.

I've had the saw for over a year and it is handy, but Worx only makes ONE blade to fit it. The 3/8" arbor does NOT allow you to use other brands of blades, especially if you want use a masonry blade or a finer tooth blade, etc. It would be nice if Worx, at least made an adaptor nut for the arbor to allow you to use the more common 5/8" arbor hole blades.
