Comfort

I have been wearing this bra for at least the last 10 years, probably more like 15 years.  I am beyond bummed that it is being discontinued.  When I try other styles, they do not compare.  I wear a 42DDD and feel that the Retro Chic Seamless Underwire bra lifts and stabilizes my bust with comfort.  The lift provides a youthful perkiness to my bust.  The straps stay in place and it is flattering under all tops. The lack of seam across the cup helps to present a smooth front.  Additionally, the way the lace is applied adds an understated classiness to the bra. This is the best bra ever!

I agree with all the comments I read, but the biggest plus is that the straps stay in place.  Perfect design between a regular strap and t-back strap. The lining of the bra is not like a padded bra either--it has just enough for modesty without adding the bulk. Thank you Wacoal!  I bought my first one in this particular style approximately a month ago, and ordered 3 more today.  I noticed it is on the discontinued list, so I'll be looking for its replacement!

Retro Chic Underwire T-Shirt Bra Retro Chic Underwire

I was hesitant to purchase this bra because it only had 9 reviews at the time of my purchase.  But I took a chance because I have been so impressed with other Wacoal items.  I'm so glad I took that chance!  This is my new favorite bra!  It fit perfectly, is so attractive with the lace detail, and is very comfortable. The middle section comes up high enough that it prevents spillage, and the back straps are set that they stay securely on the shoulders. If you have any qualms about purchasing this bra, I say "you won't be sorry".

My new favorite Wacoal bra

I used to think that those TV shows where they fit a person for a new bra and they looked taller and/or slimmer and/or better looking bosom were fake. Not any more. I love this bra. It is smooth like it should be, but also, somehow, minimizes my "side b00bs" and makes me look about 10 pounds lighter. i am 5'4" 135 pounds, so that is quite a bit of slimming!

Fits perfectly and makes me look slimmer!

I LOVE this bra. I'm a 32DD (and only recently went up to the DD cup) and this bra gives me the shaping and support I need without being too old-lady-like or uncomfortable. In fact, it's so comfortable, I hardly notice I have it on. Yes, it has a triple-hook band, but it also doesn't give you "back fat," so hooray for that! The lace on the sides of the cups adds a little extra shaping, keeping bigger "girls" from spreading out to your sides, and the wide band keeps everything up where it belongs while also smoothing.

The cups are contoured for shaping and for avoiding "headlights" (it *is* a t-shirt bra, after all), but the contouring is *very* light. While it's not my bra for very hot days if I'm going to be in the heat, it's perfect when I'm cool and comfortable, and especially good in over-air-conditioned places.

Also, the inset straps are a real plus for a narrow-shouldered woman like me, and I can wear this bra under many sleeveless tops without worry.

The center of the bra does rise pretty high, and the cups come pretty far up on the sides, too, so this isn't the bra for wearing under low-cut things or with loose, wide armholes. And it's not the sexiest bra around. But for everyday uses under just about everything else, it's *awesome*.

Straps don't slip off shoulders!  Wish they would offer  these close set back straps in the unlined retro chic.

Narrow Shoulders

First I'd like to say that I wear a 32H bra!  That in itself is pretty discouraging and extremely hard to find a bra that doesn't come up to my throat in the center and I don't hang out of on the sides.  I ordered 4 bra's in desperation hoping that at least one would fit.  When I opened the box and pulled this bra out I almost cried and said to my husband I was going to be so disappointed.  It looked HUGE on the hanger...maybe because it has soft padding and maybe just because its HUGE!  It also has 4 hooks on the back so I wasn't even going to try it on...actually I waited until the next day I was so discouraged with the way it looked.  I tried it and it seemed comfortable enough, although I HATE 4 hooks because I'm tiny around the back and petite so I'm literally all bra.  I actually wore it out that evening under a white shirt which I never wear white because of the nipple thing.  I was pleasantly surprised when it ended up being comfortable and didn't really look too bad....I kept it of course and now am thinking about ordering the one in rasberry.. another draw back you can never get colors in a 32H.

very Big Busted

the overall fit and comfort level is good- my breasts are evenly "weighed" and are far spaced, wearing this bra holds them together in a way that is comfortable. However, I cannot recommend because my nipples are HIGHLY visible under a smooth t-shirt. the name of the bra mentions t-shirts, so it should work well with t-shirts.
