First of all I need to say I hate to paint. I've tried other sprayers, rollers, brushes…and I decided to try the flexio 5000. I am so happy I did. Actually read the directions, followed them and went to work. Incredible results and so little time and that includes the cleanup. The only way it could have been easier is if I just sat and watched someone else do it. If you are on the fence about this, just go get one. You'll never look back and maybe never grab a brush again!

Awesome sprayer

It's a great machine, unfortunately I sent it back. I never got a chance to use it because it went on sale for $35 cheaper before it was delivered. So Walmart wouldn't refund the difference and advised me to return it to the nearest store's service counter. So upon arrival I filled out the return item form and dropped it off at my local Walmart and within 5 mins got a notification that my return was accepted and my card refunded, and that's why I gave 5 stars. I ordered another one, got it 2 days later and it is AMAZING! I am using it to paint my cabinets and they look phenomenal! Just follow the instructions.  Things to take notice is that you SHOULD thin your primer a little but you do not have to. Second, the turbine blows warm air, do not be alarmed by that. Third, because of the warm, the nozzle will get a buildup on it, just keep a moist paper towel near, wipe and keep going. Last, clean up is a breeze, especially if you use the liner bags. The unit comes with 2 sample bags but I ordered more online.  It literally took me 10 minutes to clean and put away.

Best purchase ever!

Very straight forward to set up and use.  Biggest thing to get used to is your hand movement.  It does take practice  
I wish the air intake filter was located on the outside of the unit.  It would be easier to get out and there would be less dust and urethane mist getting into the storage unit.

Easy to use

I bought this about a month ago to spray paint some furniture. It was easy to set up and after playing around to thin the paint properly and adjust the air flow, the spray quality was excellent. I was able to spray the pieces well quickly and achieve a uniform finish. The sprayer was really easy to clean for the next coat. I also love how everything fits into what is essentially the base of the sprayer for easy storage. This was a great purchase for me.

Easy to set up and use.  Quality of output was consistent and smooth.
I painted 15 pieces of wicker outdoor furniture the first time I used it, and all pieces look terrific.

Very Good Product.  And easy to use.

Purchased the Flexio 5000 because I didn't have the budget for an expensive HVLP.  My first project involved spraying primer and a dark color on a refinishing job.  I used the detail gun and the primer went on great.  I had some trouble with the dark latex paint, but it wasn't the gun, it was my learning curve.  I may have thinned the paint too much, or the pressure to high.  Nothing that a little touch up with a brush could not correct.

Got the job done.

This unit is good for painting walls inside and out I would not recommend it for furniture or cabinets it leaves a orange peal texture it doesnt mater how much you thin the paint

Over all it ok for everything other than cabinets

Messy, 3 man job to operate this safely. Makes a total mess with loads of airborne overspray. Took twice as long, not counting all the additional prep and clean up. So glad I wore mask and goggles. The air blows your drop cloths. The tank is a total mess to refill. You will need a helper manage the sprayer and siphon tube as you fill the tank. Going back to brush and roller. So much better coverage and nicer finish. And, the nozzle needs to be cleaned often as you spray. Thought we would do it right, using Wagner Flexio 5000. Yeah, not so much.

Horrible product

I purchased the Flexio 5000 specifically for a crib project I was building for our first grandchild.  The non-toxic crib paint specifically instructed not to thin the paint.  Since the Flexio 5000 has this line in the documentation "It has the flexibility to spray indoors and out with the power to spray unthinned latex paint and stains with full coverage"  I purchased the sprayer.  Neither one of the guns would spray the paint properly.  I ended up with spatters and what looked like a popcorn ceiling spray rather than a paint job.  I tried all variations of flow control and air with little to no improvement.  I'd like to return this unit for a full refund if they'll let me.  I had much better luck with an airless sprayer.
