I bought this and gave it as a gift my nephew is so happy it is a very great set .

Good product

Was expecting high when I ordered this product few days back after reviewing and comparing other models of Wahl. I selected this comparatively expensive model especially because it comes with the small trimmer.
I found some small hairs on the blade when I opened my new product. It seemed to me as a returned back product. The main clipper worked well but the small Trimmer was disaster. By trying several new batteries it started working but just got almost dead after a minute. I think the trimmer need more power then a single AA battery.
Also noted on the box it was mentioned Made in USA but the trimmer is Made in China with a very poor and cheap quality with very lose On Off switch. I would now buy the Clipper alone rather then getting both in one deal. And that will cost even much lesser then this one.
Customer service response was excellent when I called them for return. She instantly replied by email with the instructions for a free of cost shipping back service. Just returned the product back today.

Disappointed with the small trimmer

Very disappointed with its performance. I have a 5 lbs yorkie girl and yes, she has a lot of hair, but c'mon shes only 5 lbs and still could not cut through her hair without getting a blade dull. Heats up very quckly. Will be returning this product and look for another brand that specializes in dog grooming equipment. Wahl is a very inexpensive option but by the time you ad your wasted time, this is NOT a good deal after all. Have an unfinished dog, wasted my time and now I have to waste again to take it back.

Cant even cut through small yorkie hair!

After one use the small razor is dead. I thought it was the batteries but tried different brands and it still doesn't work. Very disappointed.
