I've been using those for months. Works great for thinning my dogs coat after a grooming. After his haircut, I just give him a little thinning all over, helps keep his coat from getting tangles. 
The look and feel of the thinners seem like cheap quality BUT they work great!

These shears, with YouTube how to videos gave professional looking results. Very pleased!

value, and effective

I am used to a finger support, these do not have it, I find them stiff and do not open and close smoothly as my previous (even slightly rusted) human grade pair. I would like to have a case for these scissors if available. I used it to do the 'pants' on my Mini Australian Shepherd and it turned out fine after a lot of fine tuning, but my hand was stiffened from having to really work the scissors (to open and shut them). They aren't a high end pair but will get the job done adequately.

Gets the job done on your pet.

I bought one at Walmart  last week and thought they would work . The scissor didn't even cut any hair on it . . It was a good design but unfortunately, it did not cut anything.  I think wahl needs to make it better .

When I purchased these, I did not know they were for pets....somehow I missed that in the description. Even so, they are flimsily made...you get what you pay for, that's for sure.
