Can be budget-friendly, but may not justify quality.

Fails to securely hold hose in place, especially with longer lengths.

Product is smaller than expected...but very attractive.  The slots for the mounting seem tailor made for covers to hide the unsightly mounting hardware...but no covers were provided.  Very satisfied with this purchase...but would benefit from one that is slightly larger.

So far so good.  Fits our long hose and so far no leaks yet.  

Note:  it did arrive incorrectly assembled.  Manufacturer error.  Good thing my hubby knows what to look for.

The construction seems flimsy. If you buy it, make sure all the hose connections do not leak before hanging on the wall. It is not hard to pull it down to tighten connections, but it is aggravating. Once you add in the cost of shipping, you might rethink the purchase and go for more expensive competitor.

So So Purchase

I put 100 ft of hose on this and the reel kept falling off its holder when the reel was rotated. The clip that locks it in place wouldn't stay locked. And the hose hadn't been charged with water yet so just the weight of the hose was too much. Also, the 100 ft was not fully contained by the reel - it was 2 or 3 wraps beyond the proper capacity of the reel. Will remount it around the back of the house with 50 ft of hose and see how that goes. Also, I find the handle too small to grasp easily. A previous edition of this that I had for more than 10 years had a straight 4 inch long handle that worked much better than this doorknob style handle.

Able to hold 100 ft is an exageration!

Looked to be similar to the model I bought years ago, but was much flimsier and clearly would not last. Was returned, I will be sourcing a more substantial version.

Not up to previous SunCast quality.

Cheap plastic for the Price.
Basically same as 49$ modèle but with flowery impressions on the face.
I returned item the same Day.

As nice as this hose reel looks, the value and flimsiness it the worst. Sorry i purchased it and i will return it.

Worst Purchase

Both product arrived with manufacturers defects preventing them from being mounted on the wall due to the hose spigot being installed backwards.  With a great deal of work and difficulty I was able to disassemble and reassemble them properly.  Terrible quality control on the part of the manufacturer

Lousy quality control

I've bought 2 of these now, first one was built wrong and wasn't able to put the hose on the rear, the second one I bought yesterday had it all mounted came outside 1 hour later found it had fallen apart even though the tab was in the lock position, rebuilt and wiggled to make sure it was locked, fell apart after 5 minutes of being reeled back up
