Comfort

We ordered 3 barstools for the our kitchen island. Slight wider than the pic and what we originally thought, but it goes well in the kitchen and very comfortable. Sturdy. I'd order again. Delivery was quick!

This is a very comfortable stool. Looks great also.

This is a fairly good chair for the price.  It has good lower back support, and the seat itself is very comfortable.  I bought the one with the light wood color, but probably would prefer the dark one (just a personal preference).  The only negative I can offer is that the chair does not feel very stable at its fully extended position.  For that reason, I would advise checking one out in the store, if possible, before making the purchase.  The bottom line, though, is that I do recommend the chair - especially for those on a budget.

Bentwood Adjustable Height Bar Stool

I love these bar stools and they look great at my kitchen island! The modern look fits right in with my modern loft-style condo. The are comfortable to sit in -- even my 70+ year old parents sat in them comfortably, and without problems getting in or out of them, the adjustable seat works great, and they are very secure and steady -- they don't feel like they will top forward or backwards. They were also very to easy to assemble. 

They only con is that the materials they are made of are very soft and easily damaged. The wood on the seat back is easily dinged and scratched. My kitchen island where the stools are used is granite. On day one of use, the wood seat back edges were already scratched and gouged  from the counter top edge, simply by having the seat back touch the touch/swivel into the counter from getting in & out of the chair. I'm going to have touch up the edges with a paint pen and then find some type of protective coating to put on the seat edges. 

The vinyl seats are easily marred too. My cat put little claw marks in the vinyl simply by jumping up on the seat. She didn't scratch her claws on it or climb/play on the seat; she just jumped on it & sat down. They were several little claw puckers and holes in the vinyl from one jump. 

The stools look great & are very comfortable. Just be gentle with them -- don't let them touch any firm/hard edges & keep pets away from them.

Very nice looking, but...

Excellent value for the price. Minimal assembly required. Wide, comfortable padded seat. Back rest too far back from the seat unless leaning back to relax. (reason for 4-star rating) Stool had a flaw on the hydraulic lift that was quickly taken care of.

Bentwood Bar Stool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This chair looks good, but is jut decent.  It will raise from the height setting i select of its own accord.  So that is frustrating.

Bought these in January 2022,  5 months later.

These were not inexpensive.

A comfortable chair and looks good, however, the lever that lifts the chair doesn't work.  I can't return it, because I cannot get the pole out of the base.
