Grinding Performance

Includes warranty with stainless components.

Can be quiet, but also produces loud sounds in some cases.

Comes with clear directions and minimal adjustments.

Installation is straightforward with provided schematics.

Only had this a couple of weeks, so don't know about long-term performance. MUCH quieter than my previous disposal. Only 1/2 HP disposal with stainless steel teeth. CLEANING TIP: Once a month throw out your old ice cubes into disposal with water running. The ice will clean the blades better than almost anything. Great warranty. CHEAP price.

Only had this a week.

I replaced the leading brand name disposer, 3/4 HP, that lasted just four years. What a steaming piece of junk. Looked around at various reviews and found the Waste King highly rated by individuals and reviewing blogs.

Two things I really like about this Waste King unit: it is QUIET, much more than any disposer I've had in the past, and installing it was so easy! No more struggling to hold up a heavy disposer with one hand while you grapple turning the mounting ring with the other (or using a car jack to hold it up). This thing was a cinch! I'd buy if for the mounting technology alone.

I have not had it installed long enough to comment on its longevity.

Quiet, Easy to Install

im a 48 yr. old mother of 3. i consider myself pretty handy. found this very easy to install. took abt. 3 hrs. total. i had to pull my dishwasher out first to reach outlet, then reconfigure dishwasher hose to disposal because it was installed wrong to begin with. disposal mounted easily to sink basin. would have taken me less time, but i included the time it took to run to the local hardware store for pvc extension because my drain pipes did not line up due to a different configuration with the previous disposal. very happy with its performance. shipping was very prompt! and all parts were included.

waste king L2600 ezmount

Good price, fast delivery, beautiful design and color, does not make a lot of noise, and has 5 years of warranty.

Best garbage disposal I ever bought

So far so good. My husband did the installation around an hour or so. I'm impressed about how quiet this product is. Just doing the comparison with the previous garbage disposal. I will strongly recommend it.

Quiet and easy to install

I use this waste disposer in my rental units. I prefer it because it has a stainless grinding chamber and most of the similarly priced units don't. It's easy to install and is reasonably quiet. You can't really tell how good a waste disposer until it fails, but so far I have been having good luck with these.

A good buy

The new Waste King Disposal we purchased was a definite best buy. Our previous Badger Disposal was 50% noisier and much harder to install. The Waste King took about 30 minutes to install. You have to buy a $4 straight piece of pvc for proper connection , but with the price about 30% less than comparable disposals this was an excellent buy. Highly recommend.

I was able to install this product in about an hour. Most of that time was spent in removing the old disposer and cleaning up the mess from it. Since I have a stainless sink I used the gasket provided and everything went very well. The product works great and is much quieter than my old one. I would recommend this product to anyone.

Installs easily with good operation

I ordered this item through Walmarts Site-to-Store. Received an e-mail from the store days later saying the item had been delivered to the store; come pick it up. Item could not be found, however. After 3 more days of them not being able to find an item they were certain had arrived at that store, I took a refund instead. I don't think I'll do Walmart Site-to-Store again. Bought the item later at Amazon for $10 less with free shipping to my home. The disposal itself is fine - easy enough to install for for someone who's never installed one before. It has the inlet port for your dishwasher discharge line (1 inch O.D. opening) and a 3 foot long power cord. Outer case is plastic but feels durable. It does makes a noticable click when the unit is turned on; I've read from other reviewers that this is normal. Runs fairly quietly. Installation instructions are good. I found the Waste King disposals received generally better online reviews than other makers.

The instructions for joining the disposal to the locking ring definitely need to be worded accurately and more clearly. If I hadn't already installed this disposal I would return it. It says in the description that it runs quietly. It is anything but quiet !!! I wish I would have purchased a Badger or a Moen.

Keep looking for different brand.
