We have been using Brita filters for several years now and have been pleased with the product. A recent design change on the faucet mount has made it more difficult to know when to change the filter.

the adapter  that goes on the faucet is smaller and other brands. I like this. I switched to Britta because I had trouble with the other brands filters not being good. I'm not sorry I like this much better.

I purchased 2 filters. One never worked. As soon as I installed the first filter, it went directly to red. But I do like this system and will continue using them. I purchased the system for my best friend also.

ibought this filter because i have to buy bottled water for my dog b/c she has a lot of UTIs. i thought this would save me money. i was very disappointed to see so much lime build up in her water bowl and she has a fountain that keeps the water moving continuously so i dont think it filters well enough to stop buying the bottled water for her.

While the brita filter improves the taste of the water there are issues about what contaminates it filters. It does get rid of lead and chlorine but not everything. The other issue is that over time there is a build up of mold in the base that should be cleaned with appropriate  solutions such as white vinegar. I also find that over time the pop up indicator which should go from red to green stops working and  I have to replace the unit about every two years.

works to improve taste but has issues.

the light that goes from green to red that is supposed to let you know that it's time to change the filter  doesn't work and i tried both filters that came with it.

The filter keep getting loose and water sprays out no matter how tight I put it.

Not pleased

I haven't used it yet because i can't get it on my
faucet. It doesn't fit!  I can't get it attached . 
Either I have to pay someone to come in and install it or return it.

The thread on the connector is stripped such that the water sprays back out of the connection when the filter is used.

Never had this issue before. Switching to another brand because this is the 2nd mount that I've purchased with the same issue.  

Highly disappointed!

Bad connector

this is the second i bought and the first one almost immediately the filter popped off and broke spilling its filtering components, decided to try again and the second one we bought worked for one day and then the filter started popping off again by spewing water out of the filter area. this is too cheaply made to work!
