Waterproof Sealant - Black, 3.78 L LIQUID RUBBER Rainwater can be a wonderful thing, as long as it's kept outside. Whether you are looking to waterproof roofs, RV's, gutters, planters, foundations or much more, Liquid Rubber Waterproof Sealant will do the trick. It is a flexible heavy-duty multi-purpose coating that cures into a waterproof membrane. It stays soft, flexible and may have some tackiness, so is not meant as a walking surface. It provides excellent adhesion, chemical and UV resistance and is resistant to freeze/thaw cycles. Best of all, it is water based, meaning no harmful solvents or VOC's.

Haven't had rain so cannot comment on the waterproof aspects of the product. However I can tell you that a physical inspection tells me there will be no issues. The sealant goes on like a thick tar. I kept feeling it as it remained somewhat sticky for a few days. Eventually it was not sticky and felt like a solid hard tar finish. I can tell this will do a fantastic job. I will be ordering more of this in the coming years should the new coating appear to be breaking down. Time will tell. Bob S.

A feeling of security at being leak proof.

LiquidRubber

Goes on thin so use about 4 - 6 light coats. Flashes off within 15 min. in warm temps & is easy to use. Keep stirring can as it'll 'skin' over in warm sunlight. Will seal effectively after it's cured!

Sealant

We put on reptile inclosure. It never dried and was sticky to the touch. We had to put sealant over it to get sticky out.

Crappy

This is a great product, been having problems with my roof for years and this has finally fixed it

Skylight curb

3 stars due to how the product worked for my application to coat inside a solar kiln. I'm sure this would be great for a roof but beware that the product remains very sticky and more so when hot and if two coated surfaces touch each other they will be stuck. In fact I ripped a wooden door jam apart due to this. That aside it appears to be easy but messy to apply and a great waterproofer.
