As stated in the previous Wearever review... This entire series is worth every penny. Wish they were more widely made. Would NOT suggest getting the non-stick version, as the regular stainless clans just like the non-stick, and you CAN use the regular stainless in your oven. Otherwise, awesome product, as always. :)

I received a set of these several years ago after using my son;s while he was stationed in Germany. I wanted the 3 qt one. Have checked my store, several times, and discovered they were no longer there. Then a few weeks ago I saw one that looked like it, purchased it and brought it home. I discovered it was a cheapened down version sold under the Walmart name. I returned it when I discovered the Wearever one online. I am extremely satisfied with these pots and pans. They replace a premium set I purchased before I got married about 44 years ago. These are a much better quality.

Excellent Quality Pots

I PURCHASED A SMALLER UNIT ROM WALMART SEVERAL YEARS AGO, AND IT WAS GREAT, THIS ONE IS THE SAME. THEY ARE WELL MADE AND DURABLE. THE UNIT WAS AS DESCRIBED PLUS IT WORKS GREAT ON AN INDUCTION PLATE.  I DON'T BELIEVE YOU CAN BEAT IT FOR THE PRICE.

WEAR EVER SS 3 QT. SAUCEPAN

Lovely, lovely, used it the same day I got it and it proved a point. I had a dish needing this size and this was/is excellent. Great for rice, pasta, potatoes... Nice size, great feel to lift, quite safe, no sticking and wonderful clean up. Cook for one, maybe two sometimes, perfect.  Highly recommend and the price is quite good.. Thank you for this one

Great pot

This is a well made pot. The lid fits perfectly. When liquid is put , it's not too heavy to carry. And it's a great size to make meals for two.

Perfect size

I like this pan very much. I like the straining lid, wish it locked in place so I wouldn't have to hold it, but otherwise I like it. Don't have to worry about scratching the non-Teflon surface.

Great Brand Great Pot!

I've used this brand of stainless steel cookware for years. In the past, I bought a very expensive set at the fair that didn't perform any better than this brand. The expensive one did give me an added measure of stress though. Plus, if I ruin a wearever pan, it isn't as devastating as ruining a pan that cost $200-400.

Both good pans with the exception of the lid handles getting overly hot to the touch that require a oven mitt. But if you use your old Bakelite lid cover knobs from your old pots, you can swap them out, and no more hot knobs.

Lid cover does retain water, have to wipe out the water with a sponge or towel to remove it.

My 1.5 & 3 Qt. pans have part numbers: A8342274 and A8342474 respectively. Whereas the part number on the 3Qt. above is different, and says it has 16/10 Stainless Steel (SS). My pans don't indicate the SS ratio on the bottom of the pan or elsewhere. So not sure of the SS quality of my pans, but they have a nice polish to them and look like decent quality. Much better than my old worn out non-stick aluminum pots.

1.5 & 3 Quart SS sauce pans

Already have a set of Wearever pans. This 3 quart pan is exactly what we needed. Very happy with it, the handle getsw alittle warm, we have a gas stove. Like the lid with vents and it is easy to pour from. Very satified with the pan.
