I assumed that the dimensions given are internal dimensions. They are external dimensions and thus it did not fir the application for which I bought it. However, it is so well made that I will keep it and use it for another application. I am looking for a case that is at least 10" x 9" x 7" interior dimension.

Excellent Case. but wrong for my application

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little tank is made of hard plastic and has probably 4 layers of foam, not to mention the lid is padded as well. It also has a knob...vent?, not sure what it does yet, but I'm sure it will come in handy one day. The foam has hundreds of small perforations so that it is form fitting and will adapt to just about anything. It is supposed to be weatherproof, but that does not mean stick it under water, more like it's no big deal if it gets wet. At the end of the day, this is a high quality, super padded little box for anything you want to protect.

Perfect for expensive electronics

I have got several different makes of weatherproof hard cases already
and I was in need of another for my Tascam field recorder.

As usual I did some looking around and I came across Monoprice. Now I
have bought completely different stuff from them in the past but hadn't
connected them with hard cases.

So, I thought I'd give them a try as the specs were exactly the same as
other well-known manufacturers and I'm glad I did.

The case is every bit as good as my other cases but there is one
significant difference - Monoprice is far more affordable. Give them a go -
you won't regret it!

Just What the Doctor Ordered!

These are REALLY nice cases. I'm using the big ones as motorcycle panniers because they're less than 1/4 the price of actual moto luggage but they're clearly more durable. I'm also using the smaller one for a compact camera system and the customizable foam works great for that. Highly recommended!

Great Cases

Boy it's big, but that's why I got it!!  It very tough looking and more than sturdy. I keep my telescopes two eleven pound weights in it, I believe the case will do the trick. The pad on the Cary handle is easy on the hands...  It was a great price too. It would be nice if the case came with a moisture collector.  JL.

Good quality and construction. Would consider buying other cases if the need arises.

Living in Oregon everything draws moisture in your trunk so save hundreds on switch problems and repair cost for you expensive gear. This will adjust to anything that fits the internal demensions.

Does not offer replacement foam options. They just say, "Go to pelican for foam." None of pelican's sizes match.
