My wife and I have tried MANY different wireless thermo's. They work for the first one or two times then never work again regardless of what you do. The Weber iGrill is the best, most accurate, most trusted that we have used. We have grilled steaks for entertaining and people always compliment on how well they turn out. The iGrill takes the guess work out of grilling meat. The only challenge I find is the rubber colored pad. The heat really takes a toll on them. I never use them to hold the probe by because of the heat over the grill surface and the probe itself. They do serve an important purpose though in identifying which probe is associated with which steak in the app. 

You won't be sorry with the iGrill unit, we haven't!

As a long time grill "expert" I have found the meats to be more perfectly cooked when using the probes.   Imagine that!

Probes work perfectly

I like the convenience of the igrill and it's connection to my phone. The Weber phone app needs some work. It doesn't automatically connect to the igrill and I only seem to be able to view 1 probe.

Love the igrill convenience, not as happy witWeber

While I've been barbecuing for many years and pride myself in the perfect steak or roast these make it easy to keep an eye on the progress of your bbq. It's great as you can leave the lid closed maintaining temperature and you can utilise the Weber app if you're distracted.

Great little assistant

I bought this single probe as a replacement probe for my iGrill mini. The one I've been using has worked perfectly for almost a year; but i know they can fail after awhile.  I love my mini and use it for just about every grilling. So I needed a backup. I take care not to kink the cable, and i clean it off with a dry, slightly abrasive sponge. The original is still ok, but i don't want an inconvenient surprise.

Must Have Backup

I purchased this probe to completely fill out available openings on my iGrill. I now can keep an eye on 3 different meats (which often happens) without opening the lid, while I prep other foods.

Buy the iGrill! And get extra probes

The original probe lasted a couple of months but started shorting out. Showing weird temperatures and needing to be wiggled or set differently. I bought two replacements. Hope they work

Replacement probe

The probes do their job well in giving temperature read outs. My only gripe with the probes are the rubber markers. They fit find on the plug end, but on the probe end it does not stay in place as well as the last version that was much longer. Also the plastic holder that I use before and after a cook. The magnet is a bit strong sometimes and I did manage to break one on accident after trying to separate one from another. Other than that it's a good product paired with the Weber connect.

The probe is fine..

I love my iGrill (the original), iGrill mini, and Kitchen thermometer. They are very accurate and make for great steaks, ribs, fish, chicken, and brisket.

I have bought at least 10 replacement probes over the years. My only complaint is that they don't last a full season. I'm very careful when cleaning and handling them, but disappointed in their longevity. I always buy 2 at a time to make sure I have a backup. At least the price has come down from last time I ordered them.

Great —- while they work

This is the second batch of these i bought, thought I'd give them a second chance, but what a waste of time and money.  The First set  I only use them for smoking so the temps never get that hot. Two of the meat probs started reading almost 100 degrees too high.  The second set came, but I have to be honest I just don't trust it so I'm back to me old 20$ probes that have been working wonderful for 8 years no problems.  The other major issues that make this product so unreliable are the main unit constantly drops signal and you have to reset it and hope the probe are correct second the distance is horrible by the time it's connected you might as well go outside and check yourself with a good calibrated probe
