Helpful in doing many excercises for any part of the body. Good for even those who have had surgeries instead of going to the Gym or Physical therapy to recover from home and not cause more pain but gentle movements as for each one's convenience. Ideal for those with back problems. My back hurts doing excercise with any machine but not this one. Doesn't feel like I am using my back or core but actually I am working those muscle. Ideal for those with knee problems too as pain in knees prevents you or is a excuse that you can't excercise or tone your muscles or lose weight. Unlike other machines this helps with my knee strengthening without causing pain. No longer can my knee prevent me from excercising with this product. Let it be upper body or core or lower body or cardio all kind of excercises are possible with it for everyone. Can adjust resistance based on your capacity. A big thumbs up for this product.

I was in the market for a total gym but after reviewing the price ( totally outrageous), after looking at the reviews I decided on this product, I've only had this product for about a week but all I can say is WOWWWW, I was a little skeptical about the 250 pound weight limit and the strength, me being 6' 340 it handles my size and weight NO PROBLEM, Quality, Price and Super Quick Shipping I would recommend this product to anyone that wants to get in shape

This does the exact same thing a Total Gym does, except at a fraction of the price. Weider includes the Pullup Bar and Squat Stand. You have to buy them separately with Total Gym. Assembly is super easy. I can assure you that it will hold 260 lbs without being the least bit rickety. it mimics anything you can do on a cable machine. Very durable, by my high standards.

Better Than A Total Gym

Everything about this training machine is pretty much A+ except it can be a bit awkward to use in some movements. But that doesn't change the 5 star rating in my book. It's the first equipment of this type that I've used or seen that can actually be used as comparable to relatively heavy lifting. In fact on some movements you can train as heavy as you want.  The four added resistance bands definitely add plenty of weight to your movements, and that's where your heavy lifting is made possible on certain movements. It's made heavy and sturdy, and wasn't bad putting it together. The only real complaint I have is the way you have to adjust the incline. I had a generic Total Gym apparatus and I much prefer sliding up and down the back upright, as opposed to leaning over and adjusting this one from under the bench. But still, for the money I think it's a super item and well worth the investment for anyone who trains fairly seriously, and consistently like I do. I've worn out a lot of home gyms and exercise machines over the years, and I'll see how long it takes my constant assault to wear this one out. Haha. From what I can see so far, I think this one will take me a long ways. Highly recommended.

Great Value

I was initially worried about how strong and durable this would be because I am 6'5" and weigh 275. I was pleasantly suprised how it holds up under my large frame. Very strong and it glides very smoothly. Also I wasn't sure if the four resistance bands you can use would make much of a difference. These bands are very effective. In using the resistance bands I rarely have to raise the overall heighth over halfway. I paid $121 for this and it was well worth it. It comes 90%assembled in the box. Took me 10 minutes for the full assembly. Hope this review helps.

Great addition to home gym!

This is a great product, I checked off that it is "flimsy" but that's too harsh of a word. I is solid but can tilt a bit when getting on and off, nothing to be concerned about and it would never fall over. The cables are a bit loud when not in use but nothing too bad. Love it and definitely recommend

Other than it not coming with an exercise guide, it was surprisingly easy to assembly by myself  (130 lb woman).  You can look up exercises on YouTube.  It does fold flat but there are not rollers so if you are storing it under a bed or something you'll probably want to slide it on a rug so it doesn't scratch flooring.

Effective and reasonably priced.

Pros: This was a great buy for me, and I highly recommend it. There are lots of different exercises you can do, working pretty much all your different muscles. It was very easy to setup. FYI: I bought the Weider Total Body Works 5000, but I got the Welder Ultimate Body Works...so I am guessing they are exactly the same (except for color). The quality is mostly great, better than I expected. It's really sturdy. It's also got 4 extra cords at the bottom to help add up to 50 lbs of resistance, which is really great for doing squats for me.

Cons: I didn't get the exercise chart/guide that was supposed to be included, so I called Weider, and they are sending me one. The handles are plastic, and I predict it will break in a few months. But this is not a big deal, since you can buy better ones and replace them. Finally, I originally bought this with the intention of folding it up once I am done using it. However, it is VERY difficult to extend/retract by yourself. So I just left it extended all the time.

Overall, I definitely recommend this. Great simple machine that will work many of your muscles. I have this and an elliptical, and that's all I need.

Great product. Lots of differert exercises.

This looks durable and arrived nearly completely assembled. Compares well to the Total Gym 1400 machine which is double the price. Can do nearly all the Total Gym exercises on this except for leg pull type exercises since this does include or have the capability of using a leg pull accessory. Also no documentation included on exercises. Folds away OK for storage by sliding together. Total Gym is hinged and folds away easier. The Weider Total Body Works is a good piece of equipment and well worth the money.

Good exercise machine. Great value.

While this item does mostly function as it's supposed to, the production is poor. The main frame seems to be aligned just fine as well as the "forward support bar." The problem I am having is in the adjustable "sliding mechanism." The piece that is troubling is the u-bracket which articulates to the main frame with a fixed, pivoting arm. This piece, which is welded, is not correctly aligned causing my main frame to tilt a few degrees off to one side. Like I said, it still seems to function, but  probably not to its full capacity. I thought about returning it, but I didn't want to deal with the hassle. The bottom line is that I'm not happy.

Poor Production Quality

I have not been able to use the product.  The box arrived with one side taped up.  I didn't think anything of it and proceeded to open the box.  There is no info/chart on exercises.  The pad was not connected as the manual said and there was broken pieces.
