I was comparing this with a Coleman tent. I found a used one that was missing the fly. I called Coleman to order a "part". They don't sell items separately. So, bye bye Coleman. In the mean time, this tent withstood a heavy rainstorm, was really easy to put up. I took it down alone, it packed well and am sure I can put it up alone. I would recommend to buy additional guider wires and hooks to make it a bit more sound. Be aware if the zipper is slightly open, the racoons will squeeze through. Had a baby steal a bag of hotdog buns! The front screened room was heaven. You could actually use it as a second bedroom. We kept our kitchen in there by bringing a small folding table. I'll call it glamping. Two folding chairs also fit!

Enjoying this Tent

The directions were horrible. As soon as we stopped trying to read them we got it up pretty quick. Great tent.

We haven't used it yet but we set it up to make sure nothing was missing and for the size it was pretty easy to set up. Nice and big. I like the big windows as well.

Wenzel tent

I love this 8 man tent. Truth be told, its just my husband and me. So an 8 man tent is what some may call excessive for 2 people. But let me tell you, I love having so much space. Im used to tiny backpacking tents so when I was deciding on a tent to use at drive up campsites, I decided to go big. It was very easy to set up with 2 people (we didnt argue at all!) and after the first time, I think Id be fine to set it up by myself.

We set up our bed in the main room like it was a master bedroom. Being able to stand up all the way (were 54 and 57) was luxurious. It has 2 large windows and a nice vent. Even when it rained with all the windows zipped up and the rain fly on, it was still breezy and not stuffy. I saw a few other people mention the door between the main room and the ante room is a perfect circle so you have to step up and over to get through. We didnt mind at all as it gives it some character (great for photos!) and it keeps the main room separate as the clean room and the ante room the more dirty room for wiping feet off and dirty towels and gear. It would have been nice if we had packed a little dustbin and broom for this reason.

The ante room you can almost stand all the way up in. We used it like a patio, storage and food pantry. We could easily fit a chair or two and a table for food prep inside. The zip windows are on all 3 sides so it feels like a screened in patio. Only minor complaint was the bottom horizontal zippers at the entrance catch easily on the fabric meant to keep the zippers dry. We were careful after it happened a few times and it was fine.

Overall, I think its a phenomenal tent. I could easily see a family of 4-5 or a group of friends sleeping in it or if you want to feel like youre glamping just 2 people like we did. :)

Very spacious! Love having a large tent

My husband and I took our 3 year old camping for the first time and we loved this tent! It was very easy to set up, we had two people, might have been a little more difficult with one. We loved the little sun room in the front, it was a great space to keep our clothes and other items we didn't want in our main "bedroom". We fit a queen size air mattress in the back room with still plenty of room for other items.
We loved all the windows and vent in the back of the tent, it was the perfect size for us as well.
Only complaints are that the windows once opened don't really have any place for the extra fabric to be tucked away or tied off so the windows kind of hang around on the floor, and the rounded door way to the back room, while it looks nice, it has a pretty high lip off the floor which we were constantly tripping over, especially my daughter.
Other than that, we loved it and it was really easy to take down and pack away. Looking forward to using it again!

Great tent

Awesome tent. I strongly recommend this one. It sleeps a lot of people and the porch is incredibly useful. My two favorite features are the number of screens it has (you can really open this tent up) and the ability to stand up inside the tent (I'm 6'1").

Awesome tent

I loved this tent! It was easy to set up just by looking at the picture on the front of the bag. There is so much room inside, both to stand up and to sleep. I love the box shape for that reason. It help up well in high winds, just make sure you point the front of the tent into the wind or else the whole side catches the breeze. Stakes held it down well. The only improvement I would suggest would be to include guylines, although this is pretty easy to do on your own. The mess side panels offer a cool feel, both aesthetically and temperature. Plenty of space to sleep. I haven't tried it in rain yet, but I have seen a number of reviews suggesting to treat the outside with waterproofing chemical which I intend to do as well. Great product!

So Spacious

easy to assemble when after an hour, I decided to read the instructions. About 15 minutes later it was up! lesson learned, read the instructions!

The tent was big. Plenty of space for 6, but could fit 8.
The instructions aren't very good.
If it's any kind of windy you need to buy better stakes than what's provided.
It leaks all over the place just like the previous reviews states. There's 6 seams by the windows, and back ventilation that leaked all night. Had to use a towel all night to soak up the rain.
Use this under ideal weather conditions. Not a good tent if it rains.

Nice big tent, but it leaks, not ideal if windy

This tent is terrible! Set up is a pain in the butt and we were only able to use it twice before there was a hole in the canvas. Do yourself a favor and keep looking.
