This is a big coffee making machine. If you got a big party or big gathering with a lot of coffee drinkers this is what you need. But remember this is going to make the coffee stronger than a drip coffee pot because some of the same water that's already been through the coffee goes through the basket again. When they say use 3 cups for grounds you should really use two. It brews the coffee pretty fast but be sure you give yourself enough time because at one cup a minute, 100 cups is over an hour and a half.. I especially like the indicator in the front so I know how much coffee is left. Be sure you got a big sink to clean it out in.

Heats up quickly and people say the coffee tastes better. Easy clean up and product is sturdy and made well. I have now purchased 3 of these coffee urns for our church. West Bend makes a good product!

Excellent product

The delivery man made a joke about delivering such an "old school" coffee maker. Maybe so but when you need that much coffee once a month, this is the answer!
The coffee was great. Plan ahead though...It took a full hour to "perk" 100 cups.

I was very pleased with the service from Walmart when I ordered this coffee urn on line. The urn works well and makes the coffee nice and hot .The full pot takes about 1 hour to perk.

We have been using this 2-3 times per week for 2 years. There have been no issues. Brews really quickly!

Affordable and Reliable 100 Cup Coffee Urn

I purchased this coffee maker to facilitate our coffee and donut ministry(by the way the donuts come from the Walmart deli} at my church. Although at this point I have used it one time, it has already proven its value.

I was disappointed with the shipping of Walmart. We use the boxes to store the coffee uhr when not in use but the box is in bad shape. It looked like the box got thrown around and something very heavy laid on top of it.
Looked inside and coffee pots were not damaged but the box will be hard to reuse time after time.

The box also was taped every where but it sure was smashed up.

One of the handles on the pot was broken when it arrived and also the coffee basket stuck to the inside of the lid making it dangerous when throwing away the grounds after brewing. It did make good coffee when it was done.

We have been using West Bend coffee makers for the past 30 years at my church. But this time , when I took it out of the box and washed it the pointy part of the colander broke off before the first use.
