Compared to another brand I used for years, I like the West Bend 12-Cup Percolator better because the heating element at the bottom floor has a smooth surface and it is flush with the floor so that, compared to other brands, it stays cleaner and it is much easier to clean when removing coffee oils and water mineral scale build up. The functions and durability so far seem very good. The coffee tastes great.

this percolator is great. the coffee tastes great. it brews quickly and automatically stops perking when done. it maintains the coffee temp hot but doesn't burn ir get scalded taste. we love it. the only minor issue is that you have to be careful when filling the brew basket. if you use a scoop, it is s tight fit. it takes a while to learn how not to spill the ground coffee. also, the basket us hot - so be careful when you empty it

I love it! Should have purchased this a long time ago! It makes a little noise when first starting up but that's no problem for us, the coffee is the smoothest I've ever tasted it made from this pot.  So glad we got it!!!

I love the taste of percolated coffee %26 this coffee maker is easy to fill %26 the coffee pours so smoothly from the pot, it perks quickly %26 holds enough coffee for a family, would definitely recommend it.

Love my percolator

I have been using  the on the stove percolator for many many years . waiting 30 minutes  for coffee  to be ready ! the electric perc is done in less than 10 minutes,  stays hot and delicious!!  I'm  sold

Love it!  Brews quickly and makes really hot coffee, just the way I like it. Less acidic and well rounded brew. It is noisy so be prepared. I don't mind.  It makes me laugh

love, love, perked coffee....ten times better than a coffeemaker! I can't say anything negative about this perculator! if you love a good cup of coffee, this is a coffee pot for you!

I wanted to get away from plastics so I decided on a stainless steel percolator. It makes good coffee and I'm pleased with doing away with another plastic small appliance. Bonus is the coffee is much hotter than drip coffeemaker.

Old school percolator

The twelve cup percolator is fast and does a great job. My only complaint is the plastic knob on the lid, it's the only reason why I had to get a new one.

Great Coffee

The whole reason I use a percolator is to get away from running boiling water over or through plastic which leaches into the coffee. I did not realize the clear bubble at the top was plastic and not glass until I opened the box. For the entire brewing process, boiling water is being pumped into that bubble and over the grounds. I don't care if the plastic is supposedly BPA free; there is more evidence coming out that this is potentially harmful as well. No thanks. Thankfully, Walmart refunded my purchase.
