The specs say 7" tall, which is true if you include the legs and the top ring standing up straight.  I was expecting the clock face to be bigger.  It makes a ticking sound.  I could never use this in my bedroom as that ticking would keep me awake.  I am using in the family room where the TV is often on which will mask the sound. I have other battery run clocks that do not tick so I know it is possible for the to be silent.  I like that the numbers are pretty big.

Not Impressed

The clock is very vintage looking and is awesome. Keeps very good time. But..
I ordered it as an alarm clock. The back is difficult to remove to change the
battery. You have to unscrew it, with your fingers. If you don't have nails, it would probably be easier. As a time piece, it's great.

Great looking as a time-piece.

I like the rustic modern look of the clock.  It was true to picture which was what I was looking for.
