I never thought a simple ruler could become the centerpiece of a mystery, but the Westcott 18" Stainless Steel Ruler from Walmart proved me wrong. It started as a normal night—just me, my homework, and the ruler's cold, silver edge. But as the clock struck midnight, I noticed something strange. The ruler never slipped, even when my desk trembled with the wind outside. It was as if it had a mind of its own, gripping the surface with supernatural strength.

Suddenly, my pencil rolled off the desk, but the ruler stayed perfectly in place, guiding my hand as I measured lines for my geometry project. The metric markings seemed to glow faintly, leading me to the answers I needed. Was it haunted? Maybe. Was it helpful? Absolutely.

Despite the eerie feeling, this ruler is the best I've ever owned. It's sturdy, precise, and never lets you down—even when things get a little spooky. Nice ruler.  Has thin cork on backside so it doesn't move around.  I use mine for scale model scratch builds. I can mark areas and then use it as a guide for cutting straight lines.  Works great for me

I actually bought this metal ruler to help my helpers to measure and cut block. It is an excellent choice. They use magic markers so they get magic marker on the ruler and it wiped right off and numbers are very easily seen. It is a great choice.

Make Work easier

These steel rulers are fantastic.  The best ever to use as a guide when cutting material with an exacto knife. The cork keeps it from slipping. Plus it elevates the ruler a tiny bit to keep inks from smearing when using it to draw, Metric on the other side is handy, to compare to inches.

Incredible price for a steel ruler

It's a ruler.  What's not to like? I didn't use them as rulers so I wish they had been a little stiffer, but they worked for my project.

I bought this so that my daughter could use in at a military camp - probably for making her bunk! ha!

For the price, this ruler is a great value. Cork backing is completely intact & affixed to stainless steel ruler, which is, itself, pretty flexible & lightweight.

Perfect. Exactly what I need. I was surprised to see that cork is what keeps it from sliding (although I don't know what I thought it would be), but it works perfectly. The metal means it's strong and will last a long time.
