Simply replace the light bulb with a one-way bulb. Turn on your lamp and plug the lamp into the dimmer. Plug the dimmer into a wall outlet and touch any metal part of your lamp to select desired light level. Touch the lamp once to switch the light to low. Touch the lamp again to turn it to medium. Touch the lamp a third time to make the light bright. The fourth touch then turns the light off. The device means that you donâ€™t have to control the lamp using the switch, which can be awkward to reach. Itâ€™s perfect for bedside lamps with hard-to-reach controls.
