Works as expected.  Everything seems to be as advertised.

I'm using my Lorex equipment on a continuous recording mode so I wanted extra storage. MY NVR came already wired for additional drives so it made sense to add this upfront. The install was very easy to do, there is a video that shows you what to do. 10 minutes taking my time and it was done and formatted. I went from 2 to 8TB and have plenty of storage for my 6 cameras. Simple upgrade.

Hard drive works as specified. As an FYI, this drive already comes with a 3 year warranty. So fancy having "AI" in the name, drive costs more on Lorex, might want to try another source, I only got it so I could get a 5 year warranty on it through Lorex. Also make sure it is installed as primary, drive does not show up when its set as secondary with a smaller hard drive setup as the primary.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The hard drive was easy to install and was plug and play ready to go. I purchased 2 drivers so it would more than double my hard drive space I never installed the second drive because they did not include the special screws to mount it and they also didn't include a cable that is needed. I ended up returning the second drive since it was overkill and Lorex took it back with no problem

Price is right, installation was easy. only complaint was I directly asked if they would come installed and told they would be installed but very easy to take out the smaller hard drive and plug in the larger hard drives no need to do any formatting just plug and go!

The drive works well and the instructions with the NVR were adequate, however if you are intending to install this to your NVR as an additional hard drive be aware that although your NVR is set up to power the second drive it does NOT have a second SATA cable. You'll need to track one down. It would be nice to have in hand before you've shut down and disassembled your system

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've only had the camera system installed for two weeks, but so far, once we figured out how to configure it properly, (ie. using the NVR set up for motion zones vs the phone app), it works great. 
The two 10TB hard drives are supposed to last for about 65 days, but that is obviously yet to be seen. Thus, in response to your review request, I'll only give it 3 stars (an average review. ) 
The only major drawback I've noticed so far, is when I turn off the monitor connected to the NVR or do certain other things with the NVR, it requires a new sign-in. Since we don't have a keyboard on the NVR, that can become cumbersome. Is there a way to connect a keyboard to the NVR?

New hard drive did not fix the problem. Old drive kept crashing although monitor was shoring non-recorded video just fine, until it finally crashed the whole system. New hard drive lasted less than 24 hours.

Didn't work! My DVR gave me a Hard Drive error, so I replaced it as per Lorex instructions. Now it still shows Hard Drive error.

Don't waste your money buy a different brand!
