First two patties we made were fine, but then they started to stick. Put a piece of wax paper on the bottom and top and it worked like a charm. Definitely works well for the small hamburger buns. Look for something else if you like to use the  Texas sized buns.

Makes burger patties just right to freeze or to cook!

Great for making frezer patties!

Bought one of these for my parents a couple years ago to replace the third press my Dad had broke. Thought I'd buy him a metal one this time so maybe he couldn't break it as easily. They still have it and so far so good. This one has lasted the longest. Don't know why they never tried a metal one before.

Still Working!

A few of the previous reviews stated that the burger press was hard to clean,this is absolutely untrue.Apparently the other reviewers did not read the provided instructions because the product completely disassembles for each cleaning.

Product worked as advertised - great for any desired thickness of patty

Works as advertised. Compresses meat to make a perfect hamburger. I recommend, as they do, using wax paper on the top and bottom of the patties. I make 5 burgers from 2 pounds of meat and mix in some hamburger seasoning, then freeze. Marinade patties overnight, in a Zip Lock Bag in the refrigerator, then cook. Serve on a large roll.

Had a plastic one that used for years. handle on presser finally broke so had to replace it. This one seems sturdy and puts pebble dimples in meat. Looking forward to many years use out of this
