It Came With Everything You Will Need To Smoke Cheese Or A Piece Of Meat Or Drinks , Just Insert The Required Batteries 4 And A Pinch Of The Wood Chips ,Add More If You Like It More Smoky . It Doesn't Come With The Cover To Put Over It But You Can Use A Plate Cover Or A Zip Style Bag To Cover What You Are Smoking . It Was Really Easy To Assemble And As Soon As You Turn It On It Immediately Starts Smoking And Doesn't Take Long For Whatever Your Smoking To Be Done . I Tried A Leg Quarter And It Worked Perfectly . And Tasted Pretty Good . And It Is Easy To Disassemble And To Clean . I Didn't Want To Smoke It Inside As It Said Don't Use Around Smoke Alarms .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Takes 4 AAA batteries, first off, nowhere could we find this on box. Came with apple wood chips, my house smells smoky, I like it. We love smoked gouda cheese so that was my first attempt. Did in a sandwich bag and it filled up with smoke quick. We tied it off to let sit in smoke a few hours after turning off and it was yummy. Plan to do some porkchops tonight. Not disappointed at all for a quick smoky flavor of anything. Some rainy nights or in Winter when grill or outdoor smoker is not an option, try this. You will not be disappointed.

Until recently I never saw smoked cheeses in our local store even now the only two I can buy are mozzarella and cheddar. When you eat cheese like I do you appreciate the delicious flavor of smoke added to your cheese. My ex-husband retrofitted the grill and found a way to smoke cheese that way but it took all day and was a major job. So when I saw this appliance I got pretty excited. I've never used a smoker like this so I had to read the instructions. It's pretty clear to use. You put the wood chips that are in the package, you only need a small amount, like a teaspoon and you get a nice sized bag of chips. The top of the smoker unscrews and there are two screens, they include spare screens. This prevents the wood getting into the hose. The unit takes 4 "AA" batteries, they are not included. You turn the unit on then light the wood chips with a lighter. I didn't have the fancy dome to use to smoke my food, so like the instructions say you can use a zip style baggie. That's what I did, which was useful later for the storage of my cheese in the refrigerator. My boyfriend did go online and buy me the fancy dome lid for next smoking. So once the unit was smoking the cheese, it said only leave it on for 30 seconds, but I left it on until it went out. I really like the smoke flavor. I used a pack of Irish Cheddar cheese as my first test. It was so good the whole block was gone the next day. I have ordered a panini press and can't wait to make sandwiches with my new smoked cheeses. I can't wait to make smoked vegetables for my various recipes, I think the flavor will be so rich and bold. In the future I want to try smoking tofu too. These are foods you can never buy but when you cook with them the flavor is so good. I have paid more than the price of this unit at festivals and fairs to buy smoked cheeses - - only to have friends and family devour them in a single day and then have to wait to the next year to buy them again. I really like the taste of smoked hot pepper cheese on burgers. I can't wait to research and find all the recipes for smoked meats and drinks that I can serve guests with this. I saw a video online of someone making a smoked bloody Mary, and serving it with the smoke coming off the drink, how fun! I just thought of smoking nuts too. It's so exciting to think of all the foods that I can now smoke. Very pleased with this unit and cleanup was easy once everything was cool, with a stiff scrub brush. I smoked outside on my patio because it mentioned not to use where fire alarms might be set off. Great gift for someone who has everything especially a foodie.

No more expensive smoked cheese purchases for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this sometimes for chicken or other meats. My spouse likes to use it when making drinks and wants to attempt smoking cheese. We shall see! I want to find some non traditional ways to use it. My next plan is making salsa, maybe smoking the onions & garlic will work. I've never used a smoke infuser before but I think it's interesting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This smoker has a stable base so it stays upright during the process which is honestly huge. It doesn't come with a cloche, and I didn't have one, so I improvised and used a glass mixing bowl I had on hand. You probably get better results with the correct tool for the job, so I plan to order one. I recommend doing this either outside on your deck, in your garage, or in an extremely well ventilated kitchen. The exhaust fan in my kitchen is not good so it It comes with some wood chips, which is great for getting started but I will definitely buy some local ones at some point. The great thing about using this smoker is that you don't need heat! I actually infused some butter with the smoke flavor which was so cool to be able to do. It comes apart to clean and you probably want to make sure to clean it after every use. I just threw the pieces and hose into the glass bowl to soak for a bit.

Powerful little smoker, great for cold stuff

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Weston infuser is an excellent product. I love how easy it is to use straight out of the box. Connect all the pieces following the instructions manual and put the screens in and afterwards put the included wood chips. Light up the wood chips and the smoke is released once you turn it on. I smoked my fresh Atlantic salmon prior to baking it and it came out delicious. Nice even smoky flavor. I will definitely be trying other wood chips. Easy to use and a great quality product. Cleaning is always very easy as most components are washable.

This is so easy to just add the smoked flavor super quick! So easy to use! I've used to make ribs from the air fryer, mesquite flavored aye fryer wings and Swiss and Steak sandwiches! So yummy and quick!

Really cool, compact tool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would recommend this to a friend who particularly likes smoked foods, if she's willing to get different chips and needs only small-medium amounts of smoked food. The infuser worked great, although I had trouble lighting the wood chips. Tip: Keep at it; they will light. The infuser then immediately filled the cloche with smoke. It was amazingly fast. However, the chips that came with the infuser had no flavor at all. I smoked cheese. It did have a smokey taste, but not a particularly good one, since the chips had no scent/flavor at all. Users should know that you need a cloche. Since I don't have one, I made one with a upside down glass bowl with snapon top that had a small hole in it (a microwaving bowl) that was perfect for the infuser tube.

It's okay with better wood chips

However, I assumed I could use it with other products such as food in a bag, etc. It does not. Super simple and easy to use, but just a personal thing.. I'd rather use my actual smoker, even if it takes longer and creates more to clean it tastes so much better.
