Friends told me ricing potatoes is the best way to go, but potato ricers can be quite expensive. Before shelling out for a higher end ricer, I thought I'd experiment with this reasonably priced model. Works great so I won't be going "high end" for awhile.  If you want to try ricing potatoes, give this a shot.  It will pay for itself very quickly. Oh, and the potaoes are yummy.

WORKS WELL WITH POTATOES,TURNIPS,BEETS AS WELL AS MOST HARD RAW VEGETABLES THAT HAVE TO BE COOKED. THE PRODUCT COULD BE 
STRONGER CONSTRUCTED BUT WORKS GOOD FOR THE PRICE.

The product seems a little flimsy but yet does the job well. Only used it once so far to make mashed potatoes & they came out good. Service from the company was fast.

It bent the first time I used it. Walmart quality control is nil. Longing for the days of the two piece forged steel ricers. You get what you pay for.
