This was purchased as a replacement, as my other grew legs, apparently. Used recently on a Howa 1500. While Howas are known to be installed ridiculously tight from the factory, this removed it with a few coaxing wacks with a 3lb foundry sledge.

Works on any flat bottom action(Mauser, Howa, etc)

I used this on a tikka and it worked beautifully, the barrel was being stubborn and broke one of my OMT inside action wrench's. The Wheeler wrench spun the action right off, definitely buy this if you're debating on yes or no!!
