Q-tips are multi purpose. These are the only ones I will buy because of their sturdiness and the fact that the cotton doesn't just slide of. Important when applying medicine. %231 brand for me. Including a pic of how thick the cotton is.

I recently purchased the generic brand that Walmart sells as the equivalent brand and WOW ARE THEY a JOKE!  The tips continued to fall off and bend but the first time one of the tips fell off in my ear %26 it continued to happened.  After that experience I only buy Qtip brand qtips and no more dupes for any reason.... it is not worth the problems I dealt with until I threw my new box in the garbage.

Q-Tips are always better than the off brand because of how sturdy they are! The off brand are always made to flimsy! There is also the right amount of cotton on them! This is a product that I will continue to buy because of the consistency of the product.

I enjoy using Q-tips for different things, they are great for travel, touch ups they are multi purpose from 1st aid to anything else that you can think of the possibilities are endless.

What happened to Qtips??!!  The last box of 500 I bought were good, as they always have been.  Nice, thick, cushiony cotton on the tips that feel good for all your uses, especially the ears.  THIS box, OMG, no!  They are HORRIBLE!  Barely any cotton on the tips and they are hard as a rock!  I cannot believe they have degraded so bad and I will DEFINITELY NOT be buying them again.  Also, is it me, or are even the sticks no good anymore.  They aren't white and pristine looking.  I will be looking for another brand, I don't care what it takes.  Unless they go back to their higher standards, I'll not be a consumer any longer.  Picture shows new, crappier one on left and old, better standard on right.

Totally degraded Qtips!

The packaging claims a new look but same product but sadly that's not the case. The new product is inferior now and similar in quality to generic brands. I have always chosen QTip because of it's sturdy shaft and full swab and now it is flimsy and lacking softness. So disappointing! I'm not going to pay more for generic quality.
