Q-Tips are always better than the off brand because of how sturdy they are! The off brand are always made to flimsy! There is also the right amount of cotton on them! This is a product that I will continue to buy because of the consistency of the product.

I recently purchased the generic brand that Walmart sells as the equivalent brand and WOW ARE THEY a JOKE!  The tips continued to fall off and bend but the first time one of the tips fell off in my ear %26 it continued to happened.  After that experience I only buy Qtip brand qtips and no more dupes for any reason.... it is not worth the problems I dealt with until I threw my new box in the garbage.

But what do any of the questions have  to do with this product and Wal-Mart? Wal-Mart has NOTHING to do with anything about this product.

I'm 77 and have used QTips my whole life!   The real deal is non negotiable...  the store/bargain brands just don't cut it!!    I DO think the real QTips have gotten smaller/shorter recently (like many other products.... think soap bars...) but it doesn't affect the swab's usefulness!

Soft, strong, dependable and useful for a plethora of things from personal care to pet care, automotive and household chores.. I've used these since I've been a child...my kids grew up with these...and now my grandkids. Some brand name things are worth the few extra pennies you spend and they are still a great value. This is one of those items. You don't fix an item that's not broken.

Q-tips are the premium brand, but quality is starting to decrease.  The sturdiness is lacking. The cotton tips are still lush. I would still recommend Q-tip brand over any other.

Very upset with quality. This is not the perfect swab that I am used to from the brand. Needs inspection at quality control department!! The cotton ends are not up to Qtip standards. I don't mind paying for the quality I am used to.

They use to have a good amount of cotton on the stick. I bought them in the past they were the best. Now, lowered their quality by reducing amount of cotton in product.  I could pay less %26 get same quality these days.

Quality gone down

I'm disappointed in the reduction of quality. I thought maybe they made a mistake with the last two packs I bought. Just bought two more and they and not good like they used to be. The are cheaply made like dollar tree and cheaper brands I remember used to be. I'm going to be looking for a new brand.

The stems of the cotton swarms are so flexible they bend when using them.  Was very disappointed when applying my eye cream and the entire  swab bent in half.  This was the first time I have bought Q-tips brand in years.  I won't bother getting them again.  The off brands do a better job.
