I have a raised ranch. I keep this in my smallest bedroom, my office, facing out into the hallway.  It cools that whole side of the house.  I have another larger Wynther model in my dining room facing the kitchen and it cools that whole half of the house too. I chose Wynther cause it doesn't have to be drained all the time when using it on air.  It does a very good job and it is a nice size nd color.

I love the unit as it is amazing!!! My central heat and air conditioner unit went out. I am purchasing the home from my siblings as it is the home we grew up in and the unit is 30 years old.
I am getting a new one but I was about to have heat exhaustion!!
My girlfriend lives in New York and had it but wasn't using it. After the $129 shipping cost it arrived.
I hook it up and it is AMAZING- it cooled my living room, my kitchen and the dining room. It even had the bedrooms semi-cool. The house is 2,200 feet.
I was amazed that it cooled that many square feet. They said it would cover around 480 but I am telling you it did much, much more!!
The temperature in the house was around 87 degrees inside and within around 30 minutes it had cooled it down to 68 degrees.
I was suspicious about how well it would work but did it ever surprise me.
I will tell you how much, this is the first review I have ever written in 54 years on earth.

Very well made, gets my bedroom freezing, which I like. Easy to set up.  Im getting a 2nd one for the living room. Great price and delivery Walmart!

Winter 12000 air conditioner

I put this unit upstairs in my 1600 square foot home and it kept the upstairs extremely comfortable on the hottest days.

Keeps house cool on hot days

I've had this A/C unit for 2 years now and am completely happy with it.  Everything is purports to be and do is 100% accurate.  Easy to use, cools quickly, mobile, dependable, consistent, quality, etc.

Look No Further

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Did a lot of research before hand and found that I should buy it from Walmart. It does everything I need it to do and it fits my room layout. I was worried about leaks like other air conditioners but this one seems fine so far.

It works very good but its kinda of loud.

Thumbs up overall

Going on 3rd year of use, on hot days it keeps roughly an 1100 sq ft area comfortable.  Window attachment didn't allow for use of living room window but dining room window.  It needed another extension.  I know I am overworking it, and had I been able to put it in the living room it would be 5 stars.

Good unit, but no longer for sale so doesn't matte

I like Whynter products in general but feel ripped off with this model.
1.   No adjustable air vents
2.  Air vents do not electronically close or move
3. The timer is hard to use
4. In general,  the digital display is not user friendly 
This machine really sucks
