The product is as I had expected and meets all my needs...HOWEVER...I ordered it on line and when I got it home is had 3 bad dings...two on the front and one on the side. For this reason, I am returning the freezer and hopefully, I can get another one without the problems...The biggest problem is that I have 30 people in my home for the entire week of the 4th of July and I NEEDED this freezer...

This is a very nice small freezer. It holds a lot more items than I thought it would. After I turned it on, it was down to zero degree in less than four hours. I would recommend it to a friend and I am very happy with it, money well spent. It will only cost about $25.00 a year to run it.

I was skeptical after reading the prior reviews about dings and dents but after a little research, I decided to take a chance. I'm so glad I did!!! Whynter must read reviews because my freezer arrived in not one but two layers of sturdy cardboard.  The corners were protected by a layer of styrofoam as was the top and bottom. THERE WAS NOT ONE DENT, DING OR SCRATCH to be found. The freezer runs so smooth and quiet that I found myself checking on it the first couple of days.  My only wish is that Wynter considers making a slightly larger and affordable freezer. I would definitely invest.

A Must Have for Extra Freezer Storage

2 months of use and just perfect! Came across the country and arrived without one single scratch. Put it in place, plugged it in and it got cold immediately. Not too noisy at all. Makes less noise than my refrigerator/freezer. Nice addition with the pandemic, allows for less trips. More room inside than I thought. There's only 2 of us, so between the 2 freezers we have plenty of room for a month's supply. Top quality, smooth sealing and opening door, very nice and easy to use controls. 2 months and I have not had to defrost yet. Shipping, packaging, and price were great. Thanks Walmart!

Awesome Freezer

Arrival time was very acceptable for a back order.   Arrived undamaged except one of the plastic caps on the leveling foot was broken.  Not necessary to have it.  Started after 24 hours of setting up right.  Put a gallon bag of tomatoes after 2 hours and were frozen solid next morning.  Very quiet running.  I think it is going to do well in our 5th wheel.  Don't know what long term results will be yet.

Nice freezer for the price.

Very happy with my new freezer. I've had it for about 4 months and it has QUIETLY behaved itself and remained more constant than anything else in my life. I will get a second one because it has occured to me that having 2 small ones like this may be better than having one large one. I can turn the emptied one off and save some electricity and move on to using the second one.

Freezer works like a champ. But, the factory packaging is inadequate. Returned first freezer due to dents and broken leveling foot. Reordered and second freezer arrived dented. All damage on second unit was cosmetic but very noticible. Walmart offered a significant discount if I kept the freezer so it all worked out.

Great freezer if you can get shipped w/o damage.

This was just the size I was looking for. To my dismay it arrived with two quarter size dents right on the front door. Rather than returning it to the store I took pictures of it and showed it to the manager. Being this was not really out in the open I was happy to get a little discount off it. It works very well and most of all it's quiet. I'm pleased with it and the two dents were simply cosmetic.

Works great but had a little problem.

So far, so good.  I've only had this for a few days.  A 6" plastic drain tube/straw came with it.  The tube is not mentioned in the literature.  The leveling foot under the door hinge has minimal adjustment, so ensure you're on a pretty level surface.  I do not believe the door is stainless, but rather stainless-looking plastic.  Very quiet.  Goes below 0 degrees.  Ensure at least 4" breathing room behind the unit.

Pretty good little freezer

First off, I love this freezer. It's much larger inside thsn you think; it can fit two 13"x9" pans with a shelf left over. It keeps the temperature nicely and it's extremely quiet. I live in an extremely small apartment and it's 5' from my couch and I can barely hear it.

However, it also came within leveling feet and when I changed the door to left hung I had to use a screw to widen all the screw holes as they hadn't been drilled correctly. That made switching the door swing and setting up the freezer take over two hours. I still would get it, however, even with this annoyance. 

Also, shout out to Fedex for delivering this five days late and upside-down. I let it sit for three days to make sure all the oil returned to the proper place, and it did work perfectly, so the compressor is top notch. It's the fit and finish that sucks, although you can't tell looking at it. It's also light enough that one person can move it around easily. 

As an aside, let it sit for a couple of days upright before you plug it in to make sure all the fluids are in the right place. You never know how many different positions it was in during shipping, so it's better to just let it settle.

Works fantastic, but missing parts

I bought this, because I wanted to make a healthy diet for my child, but with a very little pull, the freezer could be unlocked. The capacity was small, and the freezing is not good, take a long time to freeze, and the bread for instance, was still soft after a whole night in the freezer, it should have been very solid. Then why it's so expensive compared to the other brands in the market, The 2 stars because, the return was so easy.

The lock was useless for me
