The app that is required to makes these light strips actually work is so terrible that it's not worth the trouble. I would suggest checking into the Globe Suite app, that is required, before buying the lights. I'm a tech nut, and live all things tech, but after investing over 5 hours of my life into getting these lights to work I opted to return both of mine.

In the early days, it was interesting as a product, the color and intensity could be controlled by the dedicated app or by Google Home, so by voice or by a routine as well. After 2-3 months of use, the band started flashing non-stop instead of illuminating normally. It is also impossible to leave in the food, because as soon as it is fed it flashes. It can be controlled by the Globe Suite app. Very disappointing as a product!
