I was skeptical when I first saw these holster kits.  I was concerned about the quality of the leather.  I purchased this kit because I wanted to get back into leathercrafting after a 38 year hiatus and figured this would be a good start.  I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the leather, the clear and concise instructions (which included useful crafting tips and hints) and the overall design of the kit.  The leather was quality vegetable tanned leather which tooled and dyed very nicely.  I highly recommend this kit for the beginner to the experienced craftsman.  I have ordered 3 more of these kits to complete holsters for my grandkids.
