Great purchase

I got this basketball for my son because he wanted one that wasn't plain. I got this one, but I like the colors for him and he loves the team plus it's the same size as a normal ball. He practices with it and his friends like it too so that's a plus.

what else is there to say

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Feedback from a dad and two middle school age sons playing outdoor basketball weekly. 

First impressions - good looking ball, we really like the logos and colors, especially the surprise NBA logo on the back. For outdoor play, it's feels good on the dribble for a rubber ball which should allow it to last for a while. The ball feels right from a weight and shooting perspective. It's great for casual play and shooting drills. Our current preferences based on weekly play are the Wilson NCAA Replica Game Ball for outdoors and the Wilson Evolution for indoors.

One thing to note may be the workmanship. After a short amount of play, the outside rubber seems to be peeling off in small spots at the corners near the seams. It doesn't affect play so far and can be removed, but it's a bit concerning for longevity especially with repeated outdoor play. 

Again, we like the look and feel of the ball for casual play and use, but when playing more competitive games, we're going to use a composite cover ball which would be considered an upgrade.

Looks good, feels good, but watch the quality!
