I have played with heavier pro staff before and loved the precision. The weight of 340 g made it unwieldy for most players except pros. This one is perfect for most  good club players who desire the accuracy and feel of pro staff but need something easier to handle.. very happy with it , already bought 2 . Strung with technifibre 17 G

Great Racquet those wanting to hit like pros

Switched from the Babolat Pure Strike 100 1st gen. I'm a 4.0 player, who uses an extreme western grip on the forehand and have a flat backhand. Great spin potential and feel! Smaller frame did take some time to get use to but once I got comfortable it felt so nice!

Great racquet and great for spin and light

I got the Pro Staff 97L two weeks ago, and am starting to warm up to this racquet which is lightweight but provides a decent amount of control, maneuverability and power due to the thicker 23mm beam. Perfect racquet to fine tune one's strokes against the tennis wall, as it is not too heavy or not too featherlite. Would be ideal if Wilson could come up with a midplus version that is approx 300-305g, which would be good for competitive tennis.

Good lightweight racquet.
